Michael Jordan Is Now A Billionaire

Michael Jordan has entered the billionaire boys club. Number 23 has placed on Forbes annual list of the world’s billionaires with a real-time net worth of $1 billion. The six-time champion placed at no. 1,741 and is one of the 290 new billionaires to enter this year’s list.

Jordan was able to enter the billionaire rankings thanks to his Jordan deal with NIKE and his ownership of the NBA team the Charlotte Bobcats, according to Forbes. The Jordan brand raked in 2.25 billion in 2013, which put a hefty $90 million in MJ’s pockets. Owning the Bobcats was the big cash cow though. With former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who also places at no. 35 on the list, buying the Los Angeles Clippers for $2 billion, the value of NBA teams skyrocketed.

EXCLUSIVE: Crazy Legs Says No One Person Can Take Credit For Creating Hip-Hop (VIDEO)

Kool Herc is generally credited with being the creator of hip-hop with Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash also being recognized as forefathers of the culture. Though no one refutes them as being pioneers, resident b-boy of the Rock Steady Crew Crazy Legs says that culture was being birthed all over during the late 1970s, so there is no way one person can take credit for creating it.

“For someone to say that hip-hop was this back then and it was meant to be this, that’s impossible because there was no agenda,” he told AllHipHop’s CEO Chuck Creekmur. “Usually people did three elements. [Afrika Bambaataa] applied the Zulu Nation principles to hip-hop and gave it a direction in 1982 because his whole thing was peace, unity love and having fun. Then it became to be ‘what is hip-hop?’ from that point on.”

The Bronx native says many early acts laid the foundation for what hip-hop was to become.

“When you apply Kool Herc and Bambaataa and The L Brothers and all that together and see what everyone was doing, I think it becomes a collective more than [just] one particular person but Kool Herc does get praise from a lot of people.”

Though Crazy Legs has retired from break dancing, he’s still active with the Rock Steady Crew. The collective is hosting the Puerto Rock Steady Music Festival to Puerto Rico in May. Click here for more details.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Amber Rose To Reveal Freaky Kanye Sex Secrets?

Kanye pretty much put a nail in his coffin with Amber Rose when he said he had to take 30 showers after being with her in order to smash his now wife Kimmy.

Well allegedly West is pretty nervous about Rose’s memoir that’s going to drop, ‘How to be a Bad B####!’

HollywoodLife reports:

““Kanye and Amber were close. They shared many secrets and did a lot of freaky stuff together. But Kanye is a genius — he’s trying to force Amber to let him have a copy of her new book, or tell him exactly what’s said about him before it’s published.”

But after he basically said he had to clean her skuzz off of him to get in Kim’s good graces, how could ‘Ye really coerce her to do anything? Apparently he’s trying to just keep things real with her and ask for a little respect:

“Kanye told her flat out that if it wasn’t for him putting her on to the fame game, she wouldn’t be anything. He told her that he’s proud of her and her accomplishments, but that she should never bite the hand that fed her for all those years they were together. He thinks she owes him a little respect and wants an advanced copy of that book or manuscript. He’s trying to play nice with her, but who knows for how long.””

Wiz Disses Amber Rose In Song

YIKES! This won’t end up good. Most beefs play out on social media these days but Wiz let Amber have it on a new song with Juicy J.

Here’s what he said.
“Man, I fell in love with a stripper, funny thing is I fell back out of love quicker.”

“Bottles be turning these girls into thots, Instagram turning these wives into hos.”

What do you think? I hope he remembers that’s his kid’s mother.

Possible Commercial Release Date For Wu-Tang Clan's Secret Album "Once Upon A Time In Shaolin" Revealed

(AllHipHop News) Many Hip Hop fans were fascinated with the idea of Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album, but some Wu followers were equally frustrated that only one copy of the project would be sold to the highest bidder.

It turns out the highly secretive LP could be made available for the general public – in about 88 years. According to Forbes, producer Cilvaringz revealed it would be at least that long before the eventual owner of Once Upon A Time can release the album commercially.

“After 88 years the copyright, which includes public and commercial rights, automatically transfers to the owner of the work,” Cilvaringz told the publication. “However, it will still be his or her choice at that [point] to release it or not release it.”

Wu general RZA has explained he intends for the album to be viewed as a piece of rare art. The producer/rapper compared Once Upon A Time to the work of great visual artisans.

“Owning a Picasso doesn’t mean you can sell prints or reproductions, but that you’re the sole owner of a unique original,” said RZA. “And that’s what Once Upon A Time In Shaolin is. It’s a unique original rather than a master copy of an album.”

The number 88 was chosen because of the Wu-Tang Clan’s connection to numerology. There were 8 original members of the Wu, 8 is the sum of the digits in the year 2015, and 8 turned on its side represents the infinity symbol.

PREMIERE: Declaime & Kan Kick – "Cake Boss"

Sounds like Kan Kick and Declaime have been in the kitchen cookin’ up some goodies guaranteed to sate your sweet tooth…

It’s been a while since we’ve had a release from this fonky duo, but the pair return with the high blood pressure raising, “Cake Boss” goes straight for the gut but without all the high fructose corn syrup…

Produced by the man Kan Kick (also known as Kan Zulu…Kan The Man, and many other fonk aliases) Kan Kick lives up to his moniker as this joint here kicks like a whole afternoon of kung fu, with Dr.Stokley the Fonk Monk (also known in some of the last true hip hop circles as Declaime the Poet.) laying down some characteristically unapologetic bars.

Word through the grapevine is that a full Kan Kick & Dudley Perkins album is in the works. No rap…all singing. Guaranteed to be dope!
