According to TMZ, the latest fight in the Stokes household resulted in Sara being arrested again. The site reports Stokes was taken into police custody on July 21 for domestic violence. Apparently, she was drunk at the time and got into a fierce fight with her husband.
Stokes is currently on probation for a previous incident where she stabbed Tony. She pleaded out in that case, but the latest arrest was a violation of her probation. She reportedly was sentenced to 93 days in jail because of the infraction.
The six-person group, Da Band, was formed by Sean “Diddy” Combs on MTV’s reality show Making the Band 2. The collective released one album – 2003’s Too Hot for TV.

Wiz told the Minnesota crowd, “When y’all heard I was in that cell and y’all went on Twitter and y’all said, ‘Free Chuck/Wiz’… y’all better believe I snuck my cell phone in there for that s**t. I wasn’t going to miss out on the people who really care about me.”

(AllHipHop News) It was revealed during the Total Slaughter I Battle Rap event that battling legend Loaded Lux recorded a diss track aimed at Busta Rhymes.
Lux’s opponent that night, Murda Mook, gave a brief preview of the record after he spit the lines, “He makes sneak diss records bout rappers he claims he looks up to/But he never released it, he thought he kept it a secret… But we ain’t gonna hold this up, cause my n***as you know what’s up/We kept the file/Can I address the crowd?”

The full song has now hit the net courtesy of Forbez DVD. Lux’s “Burning Bridges” features lines mentioning both Busta Rhymes and Meek Mill.
After Mook leaked the snippet of the record at TSI, Busta was asked for his response about the diss track while on the Sway In The Morning radio show.
“It really caught me off guard because I don’t ever get disrespected by anybody,” said Busta. “I just command that cause I give it. So, I think the most surprising thing was not only was it from somebody that I f**k with, but it was somebody that wasn’t warranted in any disrespect towards me. I’m cool even if it’s in fun. But even if it’s in fun, again, I was raised different. We don’t diss Rakim, LL, Chuck D, even in joke. There’s no joke about any level of disrespect.”
Busta also noted he spoke to Lux, and the two emcees agreed to move forward from the situation. The native New Yorker added he is fan of Loaded Lux and supports him.

Lux addressed the matter as well. He told VladTV, “I apologized to him and everything and expressed to him that however it may seem, man to man, this wasn’t nothing I co-signed. But I apologized for my callousness. It was my vocals and everything. I will say this though, first and foremost: when we did it in its initial it wasn’t done with malice intention.”

(AllHipHop News) New Orleans, Louisiana rapper Turk has found himself embroiled in controversy, over the release of his new single “Pull Up,” featuring Joe Young and Don Trip.
What was supposed to be a celebratory moment for Turk turned sour yesterday afternoon (August 5), after allegations arose that he stole the concept from Boston, Massachusetts veteran rapper Smoke Bulga.
Not only is the song in question, but the artwork is almost identical as well. Both covers feature an infamous scene from the classic movie “Boyz in the Hood,” where character Ricky is shot in an alleyway.
“I woke up this morning and I seen all these Tweets. Creativity is in my blood, I come from creativity we make words up like ‘bling bling’ and make the world do what we do,” Turk told AllHipHop.com saying he had never heard of Smoke Bulga.
Both rappers’ singles sound somewhat identical. They both have the same title and same artwork. Turk’s version hit the Internet earlier this week, prompting a backlash from Smoke Bulga’s 58,000-plus Twitter fans.
Smoke Bulga released his version of “Pull Up” featuring Norfsyde Slee and Blockburna Ladin in June and said Turk is definitely aware of him as an artist.
“That s**t been everywhere, and I know for sure that he was following my page at one point when the n***a was locked up he was f**king with this chick from Boston and I spoke to him on three-way. We’ve had conversations before,” Smoke Bulga told AllHipHop.com in response to Turk’s claim of not knowing who he is.
Turk told AllHipHop.com that having the same title and artwork is purely coincidental. His version of “Pull Up” was created by producer JoeyDidThis of Atlanta. The rapper called in a favor to German rapper Joe Young and Don Trip who appear on Turk’s song.
As far as the cover, Turk said that he originally released his single with no cover, until his graphic designer presented him with artwork featuring the infamous scene from “Boyz in the Hood.”
“It don’t mean nobody took nothing from you,” Turk explained to AllHipHop.com. “I didn’t feel like Sheek Louch took anything for me or I took something from him. It be the people who don’t think, who be thinking these things. Shout out to the guy in Boston and the city of Boston, we ‘Pull Up’ everywhere,” Turk said, sounding genuine with the shout out.
Still, Smoke Bulga said The Dukati Gang has been working tirelessly to promote their record “Pull Up” and they had no plans on letting the issue go.
“All of the s**t that we’re doing, every dollar we put in the s**t, food is coming out a n***a’s kids mouths, we aint playing for this s**t at all. Whatever it is, it could be a misunderstanding, but I know somebody stole my s**t and he’s the face of it. He’s the poster child for whoever came and took me and my n***a’s s**t. Not even us, my city ain’t having it.”
Smoke Bulga acknowledged that sometimes artists may use the same titles or have similarities in their songs from time to time. Still, he believes everything about Turk’s release is suspicious.
He even said he is open to reconciliation and acknowledged the possibility that there could be some confusion involved, since Turk didn’t actually produce the record or the artwork in question.
You decide if Turk stole his version of “Pull Up” from Boston rapper Smoke Bulga.
(AllHipHop News) If you thought Lil Kim jumping on the remix to Beyoncé’s “Flawless” was the end of her assault against rival Nicki Minaj, you’d be wrong. The Queen Bee is in full attack mode with her latest shots at Nicki coming via social media.

After calling Nicki “wack” and suggesting the Young Money artist was not the true “queen of rap” on her version of the “Flawless (Remix),” Kim went to Instagram and Twitter to continue her years-long claim that Minaj is nothing more than her “clone.”
The Brooklyn femcee posted a pic of what appears to be cover art. The photo features a New Jersey driver’s license photoshopped to include a picture of Nicki with Kim’s name and information. The heading for the pic reads “Lil Kim Identify Theft.”
The caption on Lil Kim’s IG post says:
Be careful what you wish for… #HardCoreMixtapeUpNext #TheQueenIsBack #QueenBee
The creator of 1996’s Hard Core album later added another pic on Twitter that shows several photographs of her and Nicki Minaj dressed in similar wigs and with similar poses. That photo has been circulating online since the feud between the two rappers began in 2010.

(AllHipHop News) Crabs in a bucket mentality is real. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with AllHipHop, CMG’s Snootie Wild discussed fighting hate in his home city of Memphis, being surprised by the love he’s getting and more.
In a prior interview with AllHipHop, Young Dolph mentioned how there is antagonism that exists in Memphis’ music scene. When asked about when he knew “Yayo” was a hit in his home state, Snootie claimed the success truly came in proving his home wrong:
It was more like you got so many people what you can’t do. Like ‘ahh you ain’t going to be able to make it like that’ or ‘ahh it’s hard to make it in your hometown first’. To be honest, the more I moved in different cities, it’s almost I heard it in every city that it’s hard to make it in your city. So, to me, I was mor rebellious on the situation.
Snootie’s debut EP, Go Mode will be released later this year.
Check out PART ONE of our EXCLUSIVE interview with Snootie Wild below:
So, what had happened was…a fan wrote SZA a letter. In the letter, she was very sweet, but she address the rumor that swirl around the TDE singer. And, the singer wrote back and went IN on her own people for their hate. I can relate to that! Shoot. The hate is real and its sad.
Below is the letter from the fan and then comes SZA’s response.
“A Private Message I recently received that I felt should be made public .“…oh gee..lol I kinda dunno what to say. I’m a huge fan of your music and you over all. Your music is very relatable and I just wanna thank ya for making the music you make. Please don’t let any one phase you because you are so unique.
But I’ve come here with a few question. Don’t get me wrong who am I to question you I don’t even know you but I’m like really curious. For starters my name Noelle ,well it’s really Nasya, for reasons I prefer Noelle. But I recently came across like little silly articles on line about you. They had so many harsh and mean things to say but never really listed their sources so I wanted to come to the main source. You. I hate hearing bs about celebrities I really like because its just like who in the hell would say such mean things, like you don’t even know this person. People are saying your hair is fake, and for someone who is apart of the natural hair community, I find that HIGHLY offensive. Black women, just like any other race, can grow long healthy hair as well. They have called your freckles fake, they have even stooped so low and have called you a w#### and spread rumors that you are sleeping around with your fellow colleagues of TDE. Like it just enrages me that people always talk so much s### and still ain’t saying nothing. Ill end this before it gets too long but I also wanted to know if you had like any good advice ? I’m starting school soon ill be a junior and my last two high school years were s###. Any advice, like dos and don’ts for high school? Have a pleasant evening
xoxox -noelle :3 “
——————————————— —-
Hi noelle !
(That’s my little sisters best friends name and she’s such a sweetie) ^_^ ..sorry okay so I’m gonna address this ONE LAST TIME ready ?:
You know the only thing about the nonsense bothers me ? … These are black people .. MY people … These are the ONLY ppl attacking me . They embarrass themselves and they embarrass me for that reason alone . I’ve said so any times in interviews an right here on tumblr that I wear clip ins and the occasional weave to protect my hair from photo shoots and heat styling ect it’s fun and it makes my hair grow like wildfire and actually I suggested that others do the same ! This takes nothing away from me or my beauty because it’s just a part of my real life and I will never apologize for that ….I’m a black woman that proudly grows hair it’s just my personal genetics and I like to protect it . I have to ignore what people say about my freckles because I get go home and see my father and my granny who created me every day with a face full of them lol it’s absurd and almost laughable at this point . When I put real heavy makeup on (concealer powder foundation ect) my regular freckles get covered all the time so I go over them and depending on my mood I play around with them it’s MY face lol . if I’m gonna have freckles I might as well get to mess around with them a bit! it’s crazy fun! Its like art expression for me! . The fact that people find this of negative interest is bizarre . I think instead it’s the feeling of possibly getting under someone elses skin and that gives a lost person a false sense of power that they NEED to avoid holding up a mirror . perhaps they think it’s “exposing” or putting something out there but I’ve never tried to hide it ! I’m in TDE ONLY because I am talented .. My work speaks on that end . as for anything else my partner whom I love very much finds any conversation of me sleeping with my teammates (with whom he’s friends with ) kinda far fetched and ridiculous lol . I’ve posted so many intimate photos of my family my parents their religion and my life and it’s unfortunate that sometimes ppl make me regret that . I could give a s### about random “speculations” behind a computer screen. I only want my music and my energy to speak LOUDLY in the REAL WORLD . Like thousands of people in a crowd loud . Like fans all over the world loud like change the way people see women and people of color loud . and by the grace of God that’s slowly happening . whatever allows that to continue to shine is what’s most important . I’d shave my head and laser off my whole face tomorrow and still go make the same music and speak the same words ….it’s just about what really matters to some folks but regardless I’ve made peace. How? because IM STILL GOING TO BE SZA and there’s still going to be thousands of people like you that are positive that outweigh the few negative. What is will always be .NOTHING WILL SHIFT THE FOCUS . AND I MEAN NOTHING . this is the last time I will ever acknowledge this petty s###. Bless –
-SZA

(AllHipHop Features) The city of Chicago has been the home base for some of the most talked about new artists in rap music over the last few years.
Proof of the rise to prominence by Chitown’s new rap class was evidenced by the fact that one-third of the artists (Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Lil Durk, & Lil Bibby) included in this year’s coveted XXL Freshmen list hailed from the Windy City.
There’s another Chicago-based rapper that is on the verge of breaking out on the national level as well. The Southside’s Bandman Kevo recently released his debut mixtape Fast Life. The DJ Holiday-hosted project has garnered the 24-year-old buzzing performer attention across the Blogosphere.
Fast Life contains some of Kevo’s biggest street bangers from the last few years including “Baller In Me (Remix)” featuring Chief Keef, “Wonna Be” featuring King Louie, and “Want My Money” featuring associate ZMoney. Kevo and Z first connected through a mutual producing partner which resulted in the two rappers collaborating on three tracks off ZMoney’s The Greatest Trap Show mixtape as well.
Besides working with several rap stars from his hometown, Kevo also has the support of a Chicago rap legend. Platinum selling emcee Twista connected with the young rhymer after the Hip Hop vet’s manager put him on to some of Bandman’s music. Subsequently, Twista signed Kevo to his GMG imprint.
Bandman Kevo spoke with AllHipHop.com about his new mixtape, his native city’s Hip Hop scene, and what level of success he looks to achieve in his career.
At what point did you decide rap music was something you wanted to pursue as a profession?
I was seeing a lot of people come up in Chicago as far as music, so I said I’m going to to start taking it seriously. I had been rapping for about four or five years, but I didn’t start to take it seriously until about two years ago. I saw a lot of people making it in Chicago, so that was one of the main reasons for me to take it full force.
The Chicago Drill scene has gotten a lot of attention the last few years. How do you feel about rapper’s outside of Chicago adopting that sound for their own musical style?
I just feel like Chicago has a lot of creativity and talent. I just think we don’t get enough eyes on us. We don’t get enough attention for our city like how Atlanta, Miami, or Cali rappers get. There’s more real fans out-of-town than there is in town.
We’re getting paid attention to, but not like other rappers like a Kevin Gates. There’s other people out where he’s at that will show more love than Chicago people.
Why do you think that is? Chicago has a pretty long history in Hip Hop. You can go back to Common and Crucial Conflict.
They could have probably been bigger. It’s just Chicago… there’s a lot of hate out here. They’d rather see a Future or a Rich Homie [Quan]. You’ll have a show – even if you’re Chief Keef – they won’t come show you love like they’ll show Future or an outsider. That’s just how it is.
It seems like out-of-town people mess with Chicago people hard. That’s crazy. It’s like if Durk goes to New Jersey, he’ll get more love out-of-town too.
How does your new project and your overall brand set you apart from other rising acts out now?
A lot artists ain’t willingly to spend the money. Me not being signed, I got DJ Holiday on the mixtape. I got a few majors artists on the mixtape. I’m taking it to that next level, instead of just waiting on somebody else. I’m looking at it like, “I’m gonna do it myself to make it to the top.”
How would you define “the top” for you?
I want to be next to Diddy, [Rick] Ross, all of them. I’m trying to get up there. I’m trying to get my music nationally heard, be on the radio, doing more shows getting paid $20,000-30,000 a show or more. I’m trying to be on Drake’s level.
