Birdman Refused Entry To Nicki Minaj’s Party?
Last night Nicki Minaj had one of the hottest parties of the Grammy Weekend and it all went down at 1OAK! It was a raging orgy of excess! Jermaine DuPri was there, Busta Rhymes was there, Raekwon was there..and of course Meek and Nicki. Well, on the G side of life, there is Baby…aka Birdman of Cash Money. My spies tell me Baby tried to get into the party, but was unceremoniously denied entry. Now, I’m not saying that it was Nicki that did it…but Nicki’s loyal to Lil Wayne for sure. Maybe they were just at capacity. Maybe…the cops shut it down early. Maybe the venue just didn’t want any beef to pop off. Or maybe…Baby just didn’t get in, because there is a canyon-wide chasm between Cash Money and Young Money.
Bobby Shmurda Talks For The First Time After Being Locked Up
After being indicted, thrown in jail with 9 members of his crew GS9, and set for a dramatically high bail (which ended up being withdrawn), it seems like Bobby Shmurda has a lot of issues on his plate. However, the New York rapper still tries to stay positive, a new report says. Recently, Shmurda was interviewed by Billboard and opened up for the first time about his indictment, his struggles with the justice system, and trying to stay positive as time goes by. Regarding his withdrawn bail, Shmurda tells Billboard:
We’re trying, but right now I think the DA and the judge and everyone in the court is being biased. It’s so crazy. The favoritism, yeah. They don’t have no evidence, no nothing on me for the bill to be so high. I haven’t been out for a year, I haven’t been around for a year. So I didn’t make two million dollars! [Laughs] They gave me a bill they know I can’t pay. We can pay the 10 percent. And we tried to pay the 10 percent and they told us collateral. And every time we go for bail, it’s something new.
Man Killed By Suge Knight Laid To Rest
Terry Carter was laid to rest yesterday.
Carter was the well-regarded music label executive that was killed when Suge Knight’s truck ran him over, killing him on the scene of the movie “Straight Outta Compton.”
About 2,000 people gathered at the AME Church in the West Adams to pay their respects to Carter.
On January 29, Suge fatally fan over Carter and injured another man, Che “Bone” Sloane.
Terry Carter started a record label with Ice Cube, among other accomplishments in the record industry.

D’Angelo’s been on a role after his album Black Messiah came out of nowhere last year. Now, the soul singer is on his Second Coming tour, with a recent performance at the legendary Apollo Theater. If you’re Kanye West, aspiring rappers will always approach you for a shot in the industry. Big Sean did it, Kid Cudi did it, and last year an unknown emcee in New York did it as well. Well, last night in Los Angeles, West came across another aspiring rapper, Cameron Grey, and gave him the opportunity to spit. According to Complex West was leaving a Big Sean performance at the House of Blues with Justin Bieber, when he was approached by Grey. There was a pretty awkward moment when late night host Larry Wilmore asked Common about the bossy women in his life.
In a segment #Keepit100, the rapper was asked who was the bossiest of his three famous ex’s.
Wilmore gave him the options “professional black athlete, professional black singer or professional black actress.”
Common laughed and “professional Black singer” suggesting strongly that Erykah Badu was the one with the most forceful qualities.
The 42-year-old Chicago native previously dated Serena Williams, Badu and “Empire” actress Taraji P. Henson.

Chris Brown Finishes Community Service
Chris Brown is ready to tour again as he has finished his court-ordered community service.
The singer made the announcement last night on his Twitter account. “Finished all my community service… BTS TOUR….. Here we come,” the singer tweeted.
The “Between the Sheets Tour.” was originally set to start on Jan. 27 but after a judge revoked his probation, he had to complete 1000 hours of community service.
The status of a tour with Trey Songz and Tyga remains in limbo.
