Having previously gone as far as to hand deliver gifts throughout his community, Memphis emcee Yo Gotti decided to expand his charitable efforts this holiday season, teaming up with NBA veteran Penny Hardaway to host the Third Annual Yo Gotti Christmas Carnival.
Speaking to WMC Action News 5 he explained, “We just want to bring people together and have a good time, touch a lot of kids and just give them the holiday spirit. Of course give them toys, but to me it’s bigger than the toys. It’s the spirit that you should get from the family. That’s why we bring the rides out, the reindeers out and bring a lot of kids so they can play with each other so they can have fun.”

Staging their own protest of sorts, the NYPD is reportedly only offering limited policing in response to the deaths of OfficersRafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, who they claim were killed as a result of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio showing favoritism towards those advocating for an end to police brutality.
The New York Daily News and New York Posthas reported a sharp drop in a variety of low level offenses including drug arrests (down 84%,) traffic tickets (down 94%) and felony arrests (down 44%.) Denying that the continued anger towards the Mayor is the cause, the NYPD has instead cited a concern for their safety as the reason behind the decline in police work.
Seen as being “too soft” on police critics, de Blasio originally rode into office on claims that he would reform law enforcement within the city; following complaints that they relied too heavily on racial profiling and unwarranted “stop and frisks.”

Although the relationship between members of New York’s finest and current mayor Bill de Blasio continues to deteriorate following the execution of two NYPD officers, the entire department is now under attack for turning their back on the mayor as he delivered a speech at the funeral of Officer Rafael Ramos on December 27.
Criticizing the actions of the NYPD the New York Times wrote, ““Mr. de Blasio isn’t going to say it, but somebody has to: With these acts of passive-aggressive contempt and self-pity, many New York police officers, led by their union, are squandering the department’s credibility, defacing its reputation, shredding its hard-earned respect.” The editorial continued, “They have taken the most grave and solemn of civic moments — a funeral of a fallen colleague — and hijacked it for their own petty look-at-us gesture. In doing so, they also turned their backs on Mr. Ramoss’ widow and her two young sons, and others in that grief-struck family.”
The stand-off stems from the recent Eric Garner verdict, as many officers have accused the mayor of siding with the flood of protesters who took to the streets to voice their growing frustration with perceived police misconduct.
Will Suge Knight Do A Death Row Movie With Black Kapital In 2015
This year cannot end like this for Drake! First Diddy…then Suge? Come on! Anyway, the word on the street is that Chris Brown has pulled his Blood ties into to the fray to get Drake shut all the way down and all the way up. This is crazy since he has denied having these ties to the Bloods in the past. Sure has not denied these things at all. But Suge us talking about getting revenge on his enemies out in these streets. Glad to be one of his friends! Anyway, I am hearing that Suge is looking to bring in a couple big names into his Black Kapital label. I’d think he was looking to secure Lil Wayne if I didn’t know better, but I know Baby’s paperwork is too crazy for all that. I don’t know any of the specific names though.

The word on the street is that Dr. Dre is plotting a new album in 2015, but he will make his musical reintroduction in a most creative way. The word on the streets of Los Angeles is that Dre’s new album will correspond with the release of the new NWA movie: Straight Outta Compton! I’m even hearing that it may be Detox as the soundtrack to the album. That’s just the word. Nevertheless, I love what I am hearing. And then, Cube broke out the trailer in…Australia? What the…!?
