Footage Of Nicki Minaj Acting In High School Hits The Net (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Before Nicki Minaj became an A-List superstar, the Queens native attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts also known as “The Fame School.” While at the Upper West Side Manhattan institution, Nicki studied theater, and now a clip of the Young Money rapper acting during that time has made its way to YouTube.

Other famous alumni to emerge from LaGuardia High include Azealia Banks, Jean Grae, Kelis, Bridget Kelly, Diahann Carroll, Liza Minnelli, Tichina Arnold, Adrien Brody, Robert De Niro, Eartha Kitt, Omar Epps, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Dawnn Lewis, Wesley Snipes, and Vanessa A. Williams.

“When you’re a teenager you feel like you’re a misfit, and you’re always trying to figure out who you are and what you stand for and what you want to do with you life,” Bridget Kelly told AllHipHop.com in 2013. “I feel like had it not been for the performing aspect of my high school I would not have finished. I probably would have dropped out, and who knows what I would have been doing.”

Lil B Says He's Recording New Music With Frank Ocean (PHOTO)

(AllHipHop News) It appears The Pack’s Lil B and Odd Future’s Frank Ocean will be appearing on a new track together in the future. The BasedGod posted a photo to his Tumblr page of the two entertainers together. The caption read that Lil B an Ocean were in the studio working on music.

It is not clear if the possible collaboration(s) will appear on a future Lil B project, on Frank Ocean’s highly anticipated sophomore studio album, or another work.

B released Basedworld ParadiseHoop Life, Hoop Life, and Ultimate B***h in 2014. Ocean’s last official project was 2012’s Channel Orange. The Grammy-winning singer did drop the new song “Memrise” in November.

Chris Rock And Wife To Divorce After 19 Years

Chris Rock and his wife have been together in marriage for almost 20 years, but the pair didn’t make it.

Chris has filed for divorce and his estranged wife Malaak Compton-Rock has issued a statement.

“After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways … While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives.”

Chris’s publicist issued a statement confirming the news.

“Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak. This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family.”

The pair have a pair of daughters, Lola, 12, and Zahra, 10.

The Game Takes It To The Street With Millions March

The Game and other Hip-Hop heads took it to the streets to protest police brutality on Saturday with the Millions March.

The march also brought out DJ Mustard and Tyga who walked in solidarity with thousands of other peaceful protesters from Pacific Park.

The march went straight down the streets of the city without incident.

The Game has been outspoken against police brutality for years.

Earlier in the month, New York hosted the Millions March NYC that convened upwards of 75,000 people including Hip-Hop artists like Nas, Torea and Immortal Technique.

King Chip’s been one of the most underrated artists to come out the midwest, but that won’t stop him from dropping dope singles on the low. Friday, the Cleveland rapper, formerly known as Chip Tha Ripper, released a new track via Souncloud. The track titled “By My Lonely”, is cool and featured echoed-out rhymes by Chip. Solange Knowles Is In Tax Trouble

It doesn’t matter how dope you are in the entertainment world, Uncle Sam will still come for you if that money isn’t right. According to a post on TMZ, music artist Solange Knowles is being hit with a $55,000 debt from the State of California. The debt has been acknowledged by the state government for the years between 2010-2012. What make even matters worst is that Knowles was sent this notice a few days after her marriage. There hasn’t been any update on Knowles rebuttal to the tax lien.

Victim Comes Out About Shooting Involving Shyne, J.Lo, and Diddy

Earlier today on Instagram, UPNORTHTRIPS posted a Daily News front page about the shooting that involved celebrities Jennifer Lopez, Diddy, and Shyne. With a case that put Shyne in jail for 10 years and 3 victims affected by the shooting, lives were changed that fateful night, and today marks the 15th anniversary of the situation. While the post brought a lot of attention the the Instagram profile, one victim in the altercation spoke out about the unfortunate series of events. While some commenters acknowledged the victim’s story, some believed that it wasn’t the right photo to be frustrated about. Peep the photos below:
