Footlocker Gives Kanye West's Nike Red October Air Yeezys II A Release Date
(AllHipHop News) Footlocker just gave thousands of sneakerheads the greatest Christmas gift of their lives. After a few issues with release date confirmation, Footlocker announced today (December 20th) that the Nike Air Yeeys II will be released next Friday (December 27th) online only.
On Foot Locker’s Twitter account, the company announced the release date of the sneakers dubbed “Red Octobers”:
UPDATE: The Red Nike Air Yeezy 2 will be available ONLINE ONLY on December 27th at 8am EST.

The news comes a day after Kanye West informed Chicago’s Stylz & Roman radio show that his clothing partnership with Adidas will be released in September of 2014. During his announcement, West took one more jab at his former partner, Nike:
I’ve been under the wings, playing it the right way at Nike and everything but I’ve wanted to create more and not been able to create more for no reason. I have a new product partner with adidas. I just got back from Germany yesterday and it was one of the greatest creative days of my life.
The Red October Air Yeeys II will be available on Footlocker’s website at 8 A.M. on December 27th.

Katy Perry: Me and John Mayer's Video Was A Response To Kanye's "Bound 2" (VIDEO)
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West just got some friendly competition from the most unlikely source. During a recent interview with her boyfriend John Mayer on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Katy Perry claimed the pair’s new “Who You Love” video was “more authentic” than Kanye West’s “Bound 2”.
Pointing out Kim Kardashian’s hair blowing in the wrong direction, Perry lamented hers and Mayer’s “Who You Love” video as a response to Kanye’s “Bound 2”:
Yes. I thought our response was a little bit more authentic because my hair was blowing in the right direction, though.
During his The Breakfast Club interview, West spoke on intentionally making certain elements of his “Bound 2” video fake:
I wanted it to look as phony as possible. I wanted the clouds to go in one direction, the mountains to go in another, the horses to go over there, I wanted to show that this is the Hunger Games, this is the type of imagery that’s being presented to all of us, the only difference is there’s a black dude in the middle of it.
Perry and West collaborated in the past and even won the 2011 MTV Video Music Award for Best Collaboration for the video for their song “E.T.”

Epic Fail of the Day: Man Gets Robbed Shortly After Robbing a Bank
A Texas man was robbed shortly after robbing a bank himself.
Via Huffington Post:
Larry Poulos, of Arlington, allegedly handed a teller at the Educational Employees Credit Union a deposit slip with the word “bomb” scrawled on the back Tuesday, according to Dallas News.
The teller initially thought he was just kidding, but soon realized he was legitimately trying to rob the place. She gave him more than $5,000 in cash before he fled the store, according to the Dallas Observer, but not before he — and his “I <3 Texas” shirt — were caught on surveillance camera.
Oh yeah, some neighbors also called 911 because while Poulos was running back to his apartment, dollar bills were spilling out of the bag and trailing behind him.
Neighbors also reported that minutes after Poulous went into his apartment, two large men walked in, then came back out carrying a bag of cash.
When cops showed up at Poulos’ apartment, they noted that he was not only wearing the same “I <3 Texas” shirt seen in the surveillance video, but he was also bleeding from his head. Both Poulos and his roommate told cops that Poulos had just been robbed.
Poulos faces federal robbery charges but the people who robbed him are still at large.
Talk about karma. Now if only they catch the robber’s robbers.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Amina Buddafly Pregnant by Peter Gunz?
This is one people who still follow Love & Hip-Hop all saw coming. The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee claims that Peter Gunz’s wife, Amina Buddafly, is pregnant. The details are supposed to emerge when the Love & Hip-Hop New York reunion show airs. It was taped earlier this week.
As far as the status of Peter Gunz and Amina’s “marriage,” that status remains to be seen but it’s probably only a matter of time (if it hasn’t happened already) before he’s on to the next one.
You know Tara is p##### about this, if this is true. It was the inevitable though.
Gunz should consider getting snipped.

The Beat For Rick Ross & Jay Z's "Devil Is A Lie" May Have Been Stolen
(AllHipHop News) In an ironic turn of events, the initially credited producer of Rick Ross and Jay Z’s collaboration
“Devil Is A Lie” has been accused of stealing the beat from another producer.
KE On The Track was originally credited as the producer of the track when the song debuted online yesterday (December 20th). Minutes after the song was released to the world on Rick Ross’ Soundcloud account, KE On The Track released a video of him making the “Devil Is A Lie” beat.
Soon after, Atlanta producer Omar “Major Seven” Walker went on a Twitter tirade against KE, accusing him of stealing the beat from him and

Wyclef Jean To Join 2 Chainz, Super Cat + More At Bring The Sting Concert
(AllHipHop News) The lineup of performers for the historic 30th Anniversary of Supreme Promotions’ annual dancehall and reggae concert series Sting just . Wyclef Jean has been added to the list of performers at Bring The Sting.
Wyclef joins an already star studded line up including 2 Chainz, Romain Virgo, Lady Saw and Super Cat doing his first performance at Sting since his performance in 1992. Wyclef told AllHipHop.com “The thing about me, 2 Chainz just like when Biggie and Foxy Brown, there’s always been a relationship with mother & father or brother & sister with Hip-Hop and Reggae, especially with Sting because Sting influences the local crowd, so when they bring you in, that’s the people that the streets are feeling.”
This year’s Sting event will take concert viewership into Sting will provide pay-per-view live streaming and social media interaction. Fans will have online access to vote for their favorite performers; capability of 4 to 9 cameras to view the action; and the ability to express their opinions live as the music happens.
Sting has hosted a few legendary Hip Hop acts over its 30 year history, including Biggie Small, DMX, Kris Kross, Busta Rhymes, Foxy Brown, and Fat Boyz. Wyclef adds, “I’m definitely excited to be at Sting. I’ve done many shows in Jamaica, it’s like being back home for me, it’s like being in Port Of Prince (Haiti).”
The event will be in High Definition and will be distributed live on Pay-Per-View by MultiVision Media, Inc. on Thursday, December 26 at 12 midnight ET/9:00 PM PT at www.bringthesting.com. The price for the eight-hour streaming internet broadcast is $39.95 (early bird pricing $34.95).
NFL Owners Decline Eminem And Kanye's Million Dollar Offers
(AllHipHop News) Don’t think the NFL is sparing no expense now that the Super Bowl is being held in New Jersey for the first time.
The NFL owners wanted to have a party with a major celebrity artist, but both Eminem and Kanye West had excessive fees.
For a performance, Eminem offered the owners a $2 million price, which they declined. Kanye West was also turned down after he presented a $1 million fee. The relatively small concert event will happen after a dinner with about 1,500 people, according to TMZ.
Ultimately, the NFL owners group decided to hire Janelle Monae for $150,000.
Chris Brown Allowed To Leave Rehab For Charity Event
(AllHipHop News) Chris Brown has been granted a one-day break from his stint in rehab for a charity event.
The singer and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran will spend Sunday on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles for a Christmas Toy Drive.
The toy drive will provide for needy and underprivileged kids. Chris is expected to mingle and take pictures with attendees.
According to TMZ, the good people at his rehab facility feel the event is good for Breezy, because it will show him how cool it is to partake in nonviolent activity.
Kanye West Says Farrakhan Told Him Not To Apologize
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West seemingly threw some shade towards Jay Z, Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jordan, as he discussed a conversation with Minister Louis Farrakhan.
In new concert footage, Kanye says that he spoke with Farrakhan and was told that he should not apologize about comments he made about Jewish people.
“When I talked to Farrakhan the other night, he told me not to apologize. I ain’t finna apologize,” he said from a concert. “What I wanna tell y’all is that, uh, I’m not like Jay Z. That’s my big brother. I look up to him. And I’m not like Oprah. That’s my big sister. And I’m not like Michael Jordan.”
Exactly what Kanye was trying to say is unknown, even though contextually, it doesn’t sound flattering.
The comments come on the heels of Kanye West stating that “Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people.” in an interview. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) chided the comments and called them “classic anti-Semitism.”

Nicki Minaj Tackles "The Other Woman" In New Film
(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj started out as a performance actor and will further hone her talents in a new movie.
Nicki stars in “The Other Woman,” a movie that talks about the touchy topic of infidelity.
The movie stars Cameron Diaz, Nicki Minaj, and Leslie Mann. Nicki will play Diaz’s sassy, outspoken legal assistant.
Diaz’s character realizes her fiancee is cheating and joins forces with his mistress to get revenge.
The movie drops April 2014.
