Porsha Stewart isn’t always the brightest bulb in the box but every now and then she pops up with a statement that actually makes sense. This season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas are going through some marital rough patches primarily because of finances (Peter’s Bar One property faces foreclosure but Cynthia’s money is also tied into the business) and it’s stressing the couple out.
Porsha, stepped forward to offer Bailey some advice for how to deal with the situation in a recent interview with Radar Online. Her most important point is that they should get a financial adviser.
“Get someone else who is handling her finances and someone separate for his finances because she needs to have someone to say no if he wants to pull money and she’s not aware of that.”
According to Porsha, if Bailey had a financial advisor in the first place, Cynthia would have known that Thomas used her money to purchase the Bar One property and would be aware of their financial situation sooner.
“If you had a financial advisor, she would have known that he took money to buy a property,” Stewart said. “That’s ridiculous.”
She would know, especially since Kordell kept her broke and at his mercy. Porsha added that she doesn’t believe Cynthia and Peter are headed for divorce.

A former school teacher blind folded and fed his students cookies coated in his semen. He admitted to the offense and now children have been traumatized. It gets worse, ugh.
Mark Berndt, 62, pleaded guilty at a hearing on Friday to 23 crimes at the Miramonte Elementary School in Los Angeles, America, against 30 of his pupils.
He is expected to be jailed for 25 years.
Berndt reportedly called the sick acts “tasting games” and they would involve him offering out cookies laced with his semen while keeping the students blindfolded.
Before he offered his plea, distraught mothers of the victims told the court how their daughters’ lives had been ruined.
According to reports, some of them now have eating disorders.
Berndt was finally caught when a drugstore photo technician noticed photos showing children as young as eight blindfolded.
Police later found a plastic spoon with traces of semen in a classroom bin.
He is also suspected of putting cockroaches on the students’ faces and taping some of their mouths shut, according to KTLA 5.
Berndt’s defense attorney says he is remorseful but what’s done is done. He destroyed his 39-year teaching career and faces 23 counts of lewd conduct.
(AllHipHop News) Last night (November 19th), 242 W 41st St turned into the veritable center of the international DJ culture as a vast array of DJ’s, musicians, label heads and more attended the 2nd annual Global Spin Awards.
Held at The Times Square Center, a who’s who of the music industry was present and arrived in droves causing the event to begin considerably later than expected. The scene was a madhouse of journalists attempting to verify credentials while simultaneously trying to get any artist to stop for an interview.
Within the madness lied a bevvy of the most influential members of the DJ community of the past 25 years congregating for the first time in decades. DJ Premier, DMC of Run DMC, DJ Kid Capri, DJ Irie and many others converged on this night:

The night was full of artists, most with over 15 years in the Hip Hop game, wanting to express their love for the DJs who laid the groundwork for those MC’s to flourish. Treach from Naughty By Nature spoke EXCLUSIVELY with AllHipHop about his views of DJs and his earliest memories of the DJ culture:
One of the biggest surprises was Kendrick Lamar showing up unexpectedly and presented the night’s first award, Online Satellite DJ Award to DJ Drama.

Once the award show began, it was clear that while the Global Spin Awards is an ambitious initiative, it is by no means a well-oiled machine. A few awards were given out without the nominees being read with the West Regional Mixshow DJ being awarded to DJ Skee after only DJ Skee was announced as a nominee. Jeremih presented the Regional/National Club DJ of the year award to two DJs (Steph Floss and Bay Bay) before correctly rewarding the Miami Heat’s official DJ, DJ Irie.

Even in the midst of technical difficulties and an overpacked venue, the 2013 Global Spin Awards provided some heartfelt moments, such as DJ Kid Capri tearing up when accepting his Lifetime Achievement Award. A video of Capri’s former boss and longtime friend Russell Simmons was played where the mogul explained the importance DJ Kid Capri had on the DJ culture:
I don’t think anybody is nearly as influential in shifting the culture from the old school ot the new school as [Kid Capri].
