The Winter Music Conference/Ultra Music fest Grand Finale went down in a major way at Prestige Sundays, at nightclub Bamboo, in Miami.

With model/musician Cassie hosting, the Ciroc was flowing. Not only did she bring the bottles out, but she brought the stars as well.

From Snoop Dogg, & Flo Rida, to Pusha T and Pleasure P, a variety of rappers/entertainers showed up to Bamboo to close out the annual WMC event.

Snoop even got on the mic and MC’d the evening, before  turning the turntables over to DJ Camilo and DJ Irie

Epic Win Of The Day: 14-Year-Old Surgeon…And He’s Black!

I know some people are going to get mad, because I am highlighting this young man. This is for the rest of us that are feeling super hype! Oh, wait, you may not be so hype because you never even read about this kid! But, I got a “tip” about him because he wasn’t getting enough love in the media. Lil Mouse makes headlines and this kid gets buried. Anyway, I’m not capable properly articulating how this 9th Grader is making strides in hysterectomies. Crazy, huh?

A Jacksonville researcher has developed a way of sewing up patients after hysterectomies that stands to reduce the risk of complications and simplify the tricky procedure for less-seasoned surgeons.
Oh, and he’s 14 years old.

Tony Hansberry II is a ninth-grader who, as it happens, will be presenting his findings today before an auditorium filled with doctors just like any of his board-certified – and decades older – colleagues would. He would say he was following in the footsteps of “Doogie Howser, M.D.” – if he weren’t too young to have heard of the television show.
Instead, he says that his remarkable accomplishments are merely steps toward his ultimate goal of becoming a University of Florida-trained neurosurgeon.
“I just want to help people and be respected, knowing that I can save lives,” said Tony, the son of a registered nurse mom and an African Methodist Episcopal church pastor dad.

Real Housewife of Atlanta Soon to be a Wife No More

You could tell by the way they interacted on Real Housewives of Atlanta that former NFL superstar Kordell Stewart ran the show with and his young wife Porscha. Now it appears that Kordell is running straight to divorce court. In the court divorce papers filed Kordell says the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and claims the two are currently separated. He’s also objecting to paying Porscha, as self described Atlanta socialite, any spousal support. The couple were married for less than two years.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season as already finished taping with the final episode and three-part reunion special airing over the next month. Wonder if Porscha will stay on next season but if she does she’ll definitely have to change her opening title soundbite of “People say I have a picture-perfect life, and I do!”

Will Smith Explains Why He Wasn’t ‘Django’

(AllHipHop News) Will Smith is one of Hollywood’s heaviest hitters. So when it was rumored that he was supposed to team up with Quentin Tarantino and play a slave it seemed like stuff of legend. Smith recently told Entertainment Weekly why he didn’t commit to the project.

“Django wasn’t the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead. The other character was the lead! “I was like, ‘No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!’”

Ironically, Jamie Foxx marketed as the film lead and his co-star Christoph Waltz was nominated for a supporting actor Oscar.  This isn’t the first blockbuster film Smith turned down. He was in talks to play Neo in the Matrix trilogy.

George Zimmerman’s Brother Compares Trayvon Martin To Baby Killer

(AllHipHop News) The best defense is sometimes offense and George Zimmerman’s brother has no problem being offensive to clear his brother’s name. On Sunday(March 26) Robert Zimmerman Jr posted a photo on his personal Twitter account making a seemingly racist comparison between Trayvon Martin and De’Marquise Elkins, a 17-year old who allegedly killed a baby.

De’Marquise Elkins has been charged with the murder of a 13-month of child in Brunswick, GA. Zimmerman tweeted to another user comparing the threatening words both Elkins and Martin have been accused of saying at the time of their respective incidents:

When someone who identifies themselves as a minority responds to Zimmerman Jr remarks he addresses a bias in the liberal media:

This is another attempt by the Zimmerman family to alter the public perception of their accused family member. A month following  the February 26th murder of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman’s father, Robert Zimmerman Sr asserted that Martin assaulted his son and “said something to the effect of ‘you’re going to die now or you’re going to die tonight.”

The trial is set for June 10th, 2013.
