AllHipHop.com spent some time with June Archer, founder and CEO of the Eleven28 Entertainment Group, recently to learn about his new Hip-Hop TV Series with Fuse TV called “The DocuTape”.
We also got some info on his sister series show by executive producer O. Williams entitled “Behind The Unsigned”. Check out what June and O. have going on with Fuse, and what it means for the Hip-Hop industry at large:
AllHipHop.com: Thanks, June, for taking some time out for AllHipHop.com today. We know you’re extra busy right now! Can you speak a bit about what Eleven28 is?
June Archer: Eleven28 Entertainment is a producer and writer management company specializing in A&R consultation, artist development, and lifestyle branding. We recently added radio and TV production to that list.
AllHipHop.com: Sweet. Can you tell us about what you’re currently working on with Fuse?!
June Archer: On July 4, Eleven28 Entertainment Group released two original programs scheduled on the FUSE network. Both programs are deeply rooted in the music industry, and center around a behind the scenes look into the lives of some of the visionaries that create the music that we listen to every single day.
“The DocuTape” profiles the lives of industry professionals as they demonstrate what sacrifices and commitments it takes in order to make the music that will become the soundtrack to the lives of the masses. With the DocuTape series, it’s not about the drama – it’s about the struggle.
AllHipHop.com: So, the stories are all unparalleled then?
June Archer: Yes, each story is unique and very compelling. There are no scripts, there are no do-overs. The pain, frustration, and the passion that is revealed are all genuine and from the heart of each individual. They don’t need to feed gimmicks, as their own stories are enthralling enough to rope you in and keep you captive. Everyone will be wishing for their collective success.

AllHipHop.com: Dope. And, what about the other show with O. Williams? What’s it called, and what’s it about?
June Archer: “Behind the Unsigned” is a documentary by O. Williams that’s focus is profiling up and coming, unsigned artists. Each episode will examine the stories of indomitable artists whose spirit and heart are forever apparent in their work ethics. This, in combination with their moxy and utter determination, led them one step closer to their ultimate dream.
Featuring artists such as Chris Webby and Fred the Godson, each episode explores the lives and adversities of various unsigned artist through interviews and narrations, which allows insight into how the desire to succeed overpowers everything else, and what life choices must be made as a result. It’s about the pursuit of happiness and what is surrendered in the name of success.
“BEHIND THE UNSIGNED” on FUSE.TV – Fred The Godson
AllHipHop.com: Wow! It sounds like these two shows could change a lot of artists’ lives in a serious way! Nice! We hear that there is something truly different about the way the shows are being delivered to the audiences. Can you possibly expand on that a little bit?
June Archer: Through a ground breaking deal between Fuse, AT&T, and V-Cast, both shows will be available via Fuse On Demand and on the web for the watching convenience of viewers everywhere! As the viewing habits of the consumer morph and change with the times, so will we.
AllHipHop.com: So the change in viewing habits is what made you decide to deliver your programming that way?
June Archer: We wanted to create a format that was easily manageable and accessible for those on the go as well as those who prefer a more traditional viewing experience. Thanks to Fuse, AT&T, and V-Cast, we got both!
AllHipHop.com: Well, there ya go!
June Archer: Yessssirrr!
We highly recommend checking out Fuse.TV’s “The Docutape” and “Behind The Unsigned” on a TV, Computer, or Smartphone near you really soon!

Well, there has been a lot of talk about this offer with Chris Brown and Drake and whether or not its real. Well, we can officially end that speculation. Billionaire Alki Davi and Damon Feldman, a boxing promoter, have been pushing this deal heavy. I didn’t think it was real until I spoke to somebody on the team who spoke to the right people over there and its REAL. Now, it seems like Chris Brown is down. Did you read Sydney’s report? CHECK IT OUT!
If, they accept, the worse they can get is $1 million and a shot at $9 million for the winner! Check out the video below!
I personally don’t see why they wouldn’t take this deal. Well, if somebody has no hand skills, then I get it. Anytime there is a milli on the line, I think its a worthy risk. Get in the gym with Pac Man or Mike Tyson and get that paper! No more bottle throwing! Guard ya grill, knuckle up!

“I thank you so much for all the support and purchases over the years. It’s moments like this that make it all worth it. This is the best you will ever get, and I’m not saying that in an arrogant way, I’m saying that in a factual way.” -Kanye West (Revel Concert 7/6/12)
Last night (July 6), Kanye West touched down in Atlantic City, New Jersey for the first of a two-day stint at the brand new Revel Casino and Resort that is rumored to be earning Kanye over $3 million for both performances. It would more than appear looking back that Yeezy was worth every penny as was the money spent on the tickets to see him.
As echoes of “H.A.M.” played in the background and 19 dancers made their way across the stage, Kanye literally rose from the middle of the crowd and passed over the audience on a floating riser as he began what he dubbed “Act 1” of his two hour set, with the “Higher” from his Grammy Award-winning album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Next, Yeezy made his way to the stage and performed back to back hits in the form of “Power,” “Way Too Cold“, his verse from “New God Flow”, and “Jesus Walks”. Then, on “Can’t Tell Me Nothin”, he stopped halfway through because, as Kanye stated, “This is like my favorite song I’ve made for anybody who has ever felt this way.”
As horoscope signs flashed on the stage and lasers beamed into the audience, Kanye got into “Diamonds”, “Hell of A Life”, and “Monster”, before taking a short break to let the drums of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” bang throughout Revel’s Ovation Hall. As “Act 1” began to close, Kanye broke out “Flashing Lights”, Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T.”, and “Good Life.”
A little over an hour into the show, “Act 2” began with a string of records from his 808’s and Heartbreak album, such as “Love Lockdown”, “Say You Will”, “Heartless”, and “Pinocchio Story.” Despite the more mellow ambiance that the songs created, Kanye wasn’t going to let everyone’s energy die down, as immediately following “Pinocchio,” the infectious chorus by Rihanna from “Run This Town” blared through the speakers followed by the G.O.O.D. Music mogul’s current platinum-selling hit “Mercy.”
As Queen’s “We Will Rock You” played in the background, Kanye stopped the music so he could run a previous track back now that he “had his energy up.” “Way Too Cold” played for a second time that night, followed by “Homecoming”, “Through the Wire”, “All Falls Down”, and “Touch the Sky.”
Kanye then declared, “There is no one better, but as a human being I am flawed. By the way, we’re just about to start the show.” “All of the Lights” was up next, which he then stopped to announce “this is the one song that everyone can say ‘our n*gga dead’,” regarding Michael Jackson.
He then explained that the entire track originally starting with just a few horns in Hawaii, followed by intense writer’s block when it came to coming up with the chorus. Yeezy thanked The-Dream for coming up with the now well-known chorus, as well as Rihanna for singing it the way it’s heard now.
The whole performance was capped off with a 15-minute long rendition of “Lost In the World”, followed by Kanye thanking for the crowd for their “warm embrace,” and then one of Kanye’s most personal records was performed, “Hey Mama.” One night down, Kanye, one to go.
