Lil Kim Shoots New Video “Jay-Z” With Support From Rappers French Montana, Tony Testa

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Kim recently shot scenes for an upcoming video titled “Jay-Z,” with special guests, rappers French Montana and Tony Testa.

Lil Kim shot scenes for “Jay-Z” at Club Glazz, which is in Queens.

In addition to French Montana and Tony Testa, Lil Kim was joined by “Mob Wives” star Carla Facciolo and Lil Kim’s new artist, Tiffany Foxx.

While French Montana was simply supporting the video shoot, Tony Testa, whose uncle Joseph Carmine Testa was convicted of being the head of the Gambino crime family, and Tiffany Foxx have roles in the video.

In addition to her cozy role with Tony Testa, a source close to alleged Philadelphia mob boss “Skinny” Joey Merlino told AllHipHop.com that he and Lil Kim also developed a friendly relationship in 1006, while she was incarcerated in a federal detention center for almost a year in a Philadelphia prison, for perjury.

A rep for Tony Testa said Lil Kim will appear in an upcoming video off of his new CD Made, which is due in stores this spring.

Check out some flicks from the video shoot below:

Reports Confirm Beyonce Lip-Synced President’s Inaugural Ceremony

(AllHipHop News) Amidst the festivities of President Barack Obama’s second inauguration, reports are surfacing that during the President’s ceremony yesterday, Beyonce lip-synced the “Star Spangled Banner” to a pre-recorded track.

According to Page Six of the New York Post,  a band member in the U.S. Marine band spilled the beans about the behind the scenes details on Beyonce’s hyped up performance.

“All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day,” Kristin DuBois, a rep for the United States Marine Band told Page Six. “We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know what the reason why.”

While the news of a lip synched performance comes as a shock to many  in the online world , it’s not uncommon for inaugural performances to be pre-recorded.

According to DuBois, all music for inaugural ceremonies is pre-recorded as a precaution.

“That’s something we’ve done for years and years. The Marine Band did perform live throughout the ceremony but we received last-minute word that Beyoncé wanted to use the recording.”

Beyonce has yet to comment on the situation, but she did post photos on her Instagram, just days before the performance as she prepared a pre-recorded version of the national anthem (pictured below)

Kanye West’s Ex-Girlfriend Calls Rapper “Insecure”; Discusses Kim Kardashian, In New Interview

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West’s former flame is speaking about his new relationship with Kim Kardashian, who is pregnant with the Chicago rapper’s first child.

Kanye’s ex-girlfriend Brooke Crittendon sat down and discussed the rapper with The Sun, one of the UK’s biggest newspapers.

The pair was involved in a relationship for two years, just as Kanye West began his rise to the top of the entertainment world.

Crittendon said that the rapper is not the “egomaniac” the media has made him out to be.

“He was insecure as he couldn’t be with me every day. I got the impression he was worried he wasn’t good enough for me,” Brooke Crittendon told The Sun. “He needs people to tell him he is good and that he is needed and wanted.”

According to Brooke Crittendon, Kanye is attempting to be like Jay-Z, whom she labeled his mentor.

“Whether it is starting to be more mature, taking chances with clothes or getting married and starting a family, ultimately he takes those cues from Jay,” Crittendon claimed in the interview.

Crittendon said that the relationship ended because ultimately, Kanye West could not be faithful.

“He was a good boyfriend in f**ked up circumstances,” Crittendon said. “It ended because there were a lot of arguments and a lot of fights. It became really nasty.”
