Flo Rida Ordered To Pay $400G’s Over Fat As Butter Concert Fiasco

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Flo Rida it has been ordered to pay a massive judgment, after canceling a show in Australia
Bar.

Mothership Music, Organizers of the Fat As Butter Festival, sued the Miami rap star, after he bailed on an October 2011 show, just two hours prior to his performance.

A very public disagreement ensued, with Flo Rida complaining about his transportation and lodging, while organizers took issue with the rapper’s attitude and professionalism.

According to the Daily Herald, The NSW District Court awarded Fat As Butter organizers $400,000 in damages over the concert.

Although organizers lost $50,000 due to the cancellation, the lawsuit claimed that Fat As Butter lost up to $400,000 in extra ticket and concession sales.

In April, the rapper was ordered to pay $80,000 for performance and damages, but that amount was increased to $400,000 by the Judge.
“The no-show by Flo Rida damaged the trading regulation of the plaintiff, impacting its ability to stage future events, attract patrons and compete with rivals in the music event industry,” Judge Judith Gibson ruled.

Flo Rida was absent from the court proceedings and wasn’t available for comment as of press time.

Maybach Music 4 Remix WITH JEEZY?

So,Young Jeezy was on the first two Rick Ross’s albums and the two dons represented very well. And you know the beef popped off with them a few years ago. Recently Ross said that he would do a joint album with Jeezy if they could work out the business. I thought that was a big deal. I’m hearing some rumors that Jeezy and Jay-Z may join Ross in a remix for the Maybach Music series! That would be cool. The next 48 Hours is on the way! Here’s is the trailer!

Poor T-Boz

Man…I feel for this artists from time to time. The rise is fun, but the fall has got to suck worse that a Kim K. in a Ray-J skin flick. T-Boz is in a terrible place. One of the most selling-est females in the history of music and she finds herself broke. She had to sell a home worth $1.3 million for $680,000. She just took a huge loss. T-Boz was unable to maintain the payments on the mansion. I’m sure the maintenance was a beast as well. I really found the report on TMZ distasteful and disrespectful. They said in the headline “T-Boz Comes Out Looking Like a Scrub in Mansion Sale” and “Who’s the scrub now?” Did she pee in their Wheaties or something?

50 Cent makes more moves!

50 Cent is now a boxing promoter! YEP! The dude is rumored to be pulling Zab Judah in his TMT promotion company that is co-owned by Floyd Mayweather.

Remember when Floyd KO’d Zab? Or when Zab punched Money May in the sac? Good that they got past it.

Mike Tyson has a lot of tats, but at the moment, he’s really only known for one. No, not his Arthur Ashe tat! Its that facial one! Anyway, Mike got that and he sort of set it off with the face tats in the urban nation. Well, over the weekend, Tyga instagrammed himself seemingly with a replica! Look at it here!

I think, like many, that this is just a prank. I think Tyga may faint if he tried to get a tat that close to his skull bone! He already has some tats on his mug as it is.

Serena Williams Crip Walk: Epic Win or Epic Fail?

You know I love me some Serena Williams. So, I took my time when writing this lil’ piece of nothing. But she did the CRIP WALK at the London Olympics! I’m not sure what I think about that. Wait: I just found out. I don’t like it. Now, we all have to determine whether or not it is an epic fail or an epic win! I happen to think its a fail, but Serena is obviously a winner. I still love her despite this indiscretion.

Times sure have changed! Shout out to Tommie Smith and John Carlos at the 1968 Olympics!!

And shout out to a real Crip and even he’s given up the C-Walk to be a Rasta!

I know Serena is from Compton, but come on. Compton people don’t hate me for that! LOL!

iPODS AND THE OLYMPICS: Music Is What Gets The Athletes Moving

Music sets the mood and tone for almost anything. It calms us down, brings back memories, and of course, and by all means, it pumps us up. The London Olympics can’t escape being bombarded by various hit records before any event is underway. It seems Hip-Hop is definitely making its presence felt – well, heard – during the 2012 Games.

Gymnast Danell Leyva, who walked away with the bronze, recently told “Good Morning America” that Drake and Lil Wayne keep him calm and motivated at the same time, and ready to compete. Many Olympians rely on music to get focused – it’s as much a part of their warm up as the actual warm up.

Jay-Z is a favorite among the U.S. basketball team, while track stars seem to love Beyonce. USA diver and silver medal winner, Abby Johnston‘s, favorite tune is “Cheers”. The rowing team loves a variety of USA records, paying homage to who they are fighting for the gold for. Track star Lolo Jones is all about head-banger, rock music, before making it to the finish line. Music’s impact is clear at the 2012 Olympics.

Michael Phelps keeps his headphones on until he literally jumps in the pool. Speaking of headphones, Beats By Dre, which is what some of the athletes are using to listen to all their music, is dealing with controversy over breaking marketing rules. The issue stems from the company passing out headphones during the games, and having athletes photographed with them.

As the 2012 Summer Olympics continue, so will the tunes. What you listen to daily just may be the music of champions.

Prince Jr. and in the documents, it seemed like Drake was totally getting ripped off my Cash Money. This lead to speculation that Drake was going to partake in in some legal move to get back some of the money he was allegedly ripped off. Now, that just isn’t the case. I hit you with the exclusive on Love and Hip-Hop and Atlanta and then somebody went and discovered what I didn’t! Some sources I have! They would NOT tell me who proposed to who on the reunion show and I was left in the cold. Well, it looks like it was Lil Scrappy all along! I don’t watch the show so I didn’t know that he was dating his BM Erica Dixon. Can you be dating your bagy moms? I guess so. Anyway, that was idiotic for me to say. But according to the show, he was cheat on his BM with Buckee from Flavor of Love fame. Well, Scrappy is sorry for what he HAD don’t and put it all on the line…for ratings! Buckee and Erica got into a fight on the show. Scrappy should have gotten in the fight!
