Hip-Hop Rumors: Jay-Z/Dre Single THIS Week? Kats Stacks Investigated?

DISCLAIMER:

All content within this section is pure rumor and generally have no factual info outside of what the streets have whispered in our ear. Read on.

APRIL FOOLS!!

There, I said it before anybody! So, you didn’t get me. All the bad April Fools jokes are on the way.

This is NOT an April Fools joke – no more talent content submissions! I’m not listening to anything that wasn’t submitted on March 31. I reiterate…I will announce another day soon. I have to sift through what I have already. Don’t waste your time.

JAY-Z / DRE SINGLE THIS WEEK?

The internets are at it again. Since the Dr. Dr / Jay-Z picture dropped earlier this week…uh..yesterday…the internets are saying that there is a single coming out this week. I mean, come on, why do this to yourself? The song is supposed to be danceable and the brass at Interscope is happy – SUPPOSEDLY. Honestly, I don’t believe anything until the freaking album is out! Even a single isn’t  going to convince me! And, this album better be the best album that was ever created in the history of RAP!!!!!!!

ILLSEED’S RUMORS

What? Jennifer Lopez signed with Def Jam. Did I rumor that a ways back? I cannot remember.

The homey Stakes hit me up and told me that the Newark, NJ cops are real lowdown as well. There’s a few additional reason why crime is down in Newark.

Kim K has completely moved out of Reggie’s house.

Keri Hilson recently performed the Star Spangled banner and forgot the  words.  Not a good look, but better than what Tyrese did. LOL!

HERE HE IS…

Remember I told you about the dude that jumped off the Empire State Building? Here is his picture. He was an Ivy League Smart guy.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AND END

This is an actual “review” somebody wrote for a Wendy’s.

 Really?

JAZZY F. CHECKS IN AGAIN

Jazzy F. from TheSocietyOnline.biz on the check in with illseed today on the ALLHIPHOP.com rumors and I’m GOIN IN!  Lets start things off by saying NO! Nicki Minaj and Sean Garret are not having problems. I love the public ploys to sell even when it comes from out the air. Sean Garret tweeted a response to the message denying the statement and to  check iTunes for his single featuring Nicki Minaj “Get It All”.

Kat Stacks the girl that said she was a jump off for the entire young money home was inspected by child services.  Kats Stacks original twitter page was also suspended.  The rumor reported was rappers called child services on her for lying. Now you see what talking greasy can get you.  I hear there are interviews coming up with this girl.

Cam and Jim Jones are on a double cover issue of Straight Stuntin Magazine. Cam for “Guns -N- Butta” and Jim Jones for “Ghost of Rich Porter”. There were reports Camron was at Juelz Santana birthday party at M2 but Cam has already begun to reform his own Dipset so if the old Dipset is back together I would not say things are for sure.

The homie from planet Mars Weezy F. Baby is not fighting on Rikers Island. Young Money President has gone to visit about 2 or 3 times and says Lil Wayne is good and says to tell the fan what up and that there is a special #FreeWeezy site coming. We report the rumors for sure but the ? Is who is making them up. SMH.

Jazzy F. Baby blasting off see you guys later ALLHIPHOP.

Ron Artest Lands “Crazy” Reality Show

(AllHipHop News) Pro basketball player/rapper Ron Artest has landed his own reality series that will document his life. The Los Angeles Lakers’ star forward’s show is titled They Call Me Crazy and will feature Artest making amends for his past transgressions, including a controversial 2004 brawl with fans during a Pistons-Pacer game. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will also feature Artest seeking new Hip-Hop talent for his recorded label, Tru Warier. The reality show is being developed with Tijuana Entertainment and E1 Entertainment, the company that is distributing Faith Evans’ new reality show It’s All About Faith. “I’m really excited to have the opportunity to invite people into my world to see the real me, and show them there are many more sides to the Ron Artest they see on the basketball court,” Artest said in a statement “This show will allow me to share my experiences with others, and hopefully people can learn from the mistakes I’ve made.” An air date was not available as of press time.

Bone: Welcome to his Atlanta

Def Jam Recording artist, Bone, may be standing on the outside of the Freshman class of 2010, but could very well step out to be “John Wall (of Kentucky Wildcat fame)” when the year is over. The Atlanta, Texas (yes, I said Texas) native, Fort Worth resident appeared on the industry radar this past October, and got signed to a single deal with Def Jam for a song he recorded only a month before called “HomeGurl”.

Six months later, the early success of ‘HomeGurl’ upgraded Bone’s Def Jam situation to an album contract. And the recently released remix of the record has been graced by Texas lyrical legend, Bun B. Bone is currently attending Prairie View University. And this is where Hip-Hop elder statesmen would be proud. Bone is currently taking a Hip-Hop course, learning the in and outs of the industry as well as its history. Bone was granted a break between classes to talk with AllHipHop.com about his early success and double life as rapper/college student.

AllHipHop.com: While we got some time between your classes, talk about some of your early influences in Hip-Hop.

Bone: When I was very young, it was listening to LL Cool J that made me want to rap. I can remember watching the ‘Around the Way Girl’ video with my mom. She was a huge fan of LL. When I was old enough to choose what I listened to, I listened to UGK. I remember hearing ‘Pocket Full of Stones’ a lot. ‘Do What You Wanna Do’ by Devin da Dude was a favorite of mine. At age 12, I was blessed to listen to Eminem, and he has been my favorite rapper since. More so than Em’, I must say Scarface. And I can’t leave out artists like Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Slim Thugg, Chalie Boy, etc. These were the artists that showed me how to grind and how to get my music heard. And I’m not just saying but I’ve been reading AllHipHop.com ever since I started reading news online. So your site is an influence too.

AllHipHop.com: We appreciate that a lot! Ok, so talk about your college life and whether it connects to your music career or not.

Bone: Well I’m sitting in my professor’s office, shout out to Dr. Jones. I met Dr. Jones back in 2006. His favorite rapper is Rakim. And he swears up and down that Rakim is the best emcee ever. I’m enrolled in his Hip-Hop class this semester. Dr. Jones’ expertise in History and his background in Hip-Hop has opened up my small world to the larger picture. Hip-Hop is a culture. I believe that there isn’t a wrong way to be Hip-Hop. I believe that Texas is as much Hip-Hop as New York and California is as much Hip-Hop as Georgia is. Hip-Hop is universal. And as far as tying Hip-Hop in with my major (Psychology), in many ways it is one in the same. But I just want people to know that you can do both, music and school. You don’t have to drop one for another. You can work twice as hard at both.

AllHipHop.com: Let me be honest with you. I never knew there was an Atlanta, Texas. Can you do a pitch for your hometown real quick?

Bone: Atlanta, Texas is all about Football and Track & Field. We’ve won State Championships in both. I was on the 2004 State Championship Football team. It’s a very athletic community. The population is 5,000 people. As far as Hip-Hop goes, there isn’t any history there. So for me to come from Atlanta, Texas and to be signed to Def Jam is a blessing. I’m so proud to have been born and raised there. But I will tell you, there weren’t any places for me to record in town. I didn’t record my first record until I was 15 years old. I’ve wanted to rap since I was 4.

AllHipHop.com: Now that you have your album deal in place, what are you looking forward to this year?

Bone: I got a lot of songs ready that we are going through right now. We have a title for the album. Tricky Stewart will be lending his Grammy winning expertise to the album. I got my first mixtape coming out. We’re just working hard, pushing everything to the max. I am also working on getting this degree at the same time. So it’s a lot of work, but it’s the best work.

I didn’t publish the actual address, but dudes are buggin!

EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY

This is a great FAIL at the expense of somebody’s mother.

I snagged this from the Associated Press.

TAMPA, Fla. — Minnesota Twins leadoff man Denard Span hit a foul ball that struck his mother in the chest during Wednesday’s exhibition game. Span went into the stands to check on her, found out she was OK and stayed in the game.

Wanda Wilson was sitting in the box seats near the third-base dugout when her son hit a foul liner leading off the game against the New York Yankees.

Span sprinted to his mom and stayed while paramedics treated her. The game was delayed for a few minutes and she was taken to first aid. Span returned to the plate and struck out on the next pitch.

The Twins said Span’s mother was all right. She was back in the seats by the bottom of the first inning.

NOW, WE KNOW DIDDY CAN’T SING, RIGHT?

How he get on American Idol???? Diddy’s a GANGSTER! That’s how!

P### STAR PUTS DAME DASH, NAOMI CAMPBELL AND JAY-Z ON BLAST!

Now, this is a crazy one here. There is a p### star by the name of India and she’s retired but still big in that game. She has a Blog Talk Radio and in the radio show she dropped a couple of bombs. At the 39 minute mark, she reveals a few things. One of them is that she had sex with both Jay-Z and Dame Dash. Not at the same time. She also claims that she had a coke-snorting fest with Naomi Campbell.

[Listen so the show for yourself!]

Signs The World Is NOT Coming To An End!!

HOLY S**T – SIGNS THE WORLD IS NOT COMING TO AN END!!!!

I swear this is the illest sign that I have ever written!!!! Newark, NJ is known to have some serious issues with crime, gangs and other matters. I think this is one of the best signs EVER!!!! Peep the science on this. For the first time in 40 years, the city of Newark hasn’t had a MURDER for 30 DAYS Straight! This has not happened for over 40 years – since 1966! Holy COW! Do you know what this means? There is HOPE!!! I mean, they still have women trying to inject CAULK in their a$$, but that’s another story.  Furthermore, since January 1, there have “only” been 10 murders and none of them have occurred in South Ward, the most infamous section of Newark. They did have some crimes and stuff, but nobody was killed. This is pretty cool! Props to NEWARK!

NEWARK, NJ!!

Hip-Hop Rumors: Slaughterhouse On Shady Official? Man Leaps From Empire State Bldg!

DISCLAIMER:

All content within this section is pure rumor

and generally have no factual info outside of what the streets have

whispered in our ear. Read on.

SEE SOMETHING? SAY SOMETHING!!!!!

SLAUGHTERHOUSE OFF TO SHADYVILLE? So, Royce Da 5’9″ sent a bunch of people a snippet of his new song from “Bar Exam 3” and he said something interesting. First of all, let me run it down. There is a song with Slaughterhouse and Bun B (No Joell Ortiz or Buddens) and at the end of the song, Royce yells, “SHADY!” After we are punched in the chest plate with that, Royce says, “Doesn’t it sound so good me saying that?” Finally, he concludes, “If you like the white boy you might as well go ahead and like me to because wherever he’s at I’m gonna be!” It sure sounds like somebody is signed to Shady! I don’t know that this just means that he’s back to being cool with Em or that Slaughterhouse has solidified a deal with them. Who know!? I would venture to say, they are trying to work out the deal still in light of the stuff with Joe Budden. I don’t know though.

NIPSEY HUSSEL DISSES

JAE MILLZ

I’ll tell you…this Twitter is funny. I have to get more involved. These rappers are going off. Nipsey lashed out at Jae Millz. Millz was riding for Vado, Cam’Ron’s dude.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END! Did you know somebody jumped of the damn Empire State Building!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE F!

NEW YORK — The man who plunged to his death in an apparent suicide jump off the Empire State building was a junior from Yale University.

Twenty-one-year-old Cameron Dabaghi from Austin jumped from the 86th floor Tuesday. That floor has an observation deck open to the public.

He was dead when rescue workers arrived at the 102-story skyscraper shortly before 6:30 p.m.

The university said in a statement that it was extending support to the student’s family and friends, and making counselors available.

The Empire State Building is the third-tallest building in the United States. More than 30 people have committed suicide at the building since it opened in 1931.

AllHipHop ChartWatch: Luda Is The No. 1 Rapper!

ChartWatch for March 31, 2010

There

is only one artist from Hip-Hop in the top ten this week but that’s not what’s

important.  What is important is that I

went to check the comments from last week’s column and guess what?  No spam.

No bootleg Jordans.  No fake

Gucci.  No “come check my website” or “listen

to my demo”.  Just comments about….Hip

Hop.  I had to go and check some other

articles just to be sure.  Looks like it’s

a new day…but not for the Hip Hop charts.

This week it’s the same old, same old.

It’s still that slow part of the year so expect some more Hip Hop albums

as we get closer to the summer.Ludacris is the number

one selling Hip Hop artist this week and holds the number six spot.  This week the Atlanta MC sold 44,000 copies

of seventh album, Battle of the Sexes.

For now, the only other Hip

Hop in the top ten is the Black Eyed Peas with their latest album The E.N.D.  This week the group grabs the number ten spot

and sells 33,000 copies.

Next

on the charts is Lil Wayne, who sells 20,000 copies of his rock album, Rebirth, and secures the number twenty

spot.  He is followed by Snoop Dog.  The West Coast rapper’s rerelease entitled More Malice enters the charts at number

twenty-nine and moves 15,000 copies.

Finally,

Young Money drops from twenty-five to thirty-four but still manages to sell

12,000 copies of We Are Young Money.

Dropping

This Week

First

up in Dropping is Vallejo, California rapper E-40 who is releasing two albums this

week.  The rapper best known for his

extensive slang-vocabulary drops Revenue

Retrievin: Day Shift and Revenue

Retrievin: Night Shift.  Both albums

feature notable Bay Area artists so if you’re a fan of the music then pick up

both.

Last

up we have three members of Wu-Tang who are joining together to drop an

album.  Ghostface, Method Man, and Raekwon

team up this week to release Wu-Massacre.  The album features production by RZA,

Mathematics, Ty Fyffe, and Scram Jones.  A

few of the artist featured on the album included Solomon Childs, Streetlife,

and Sheek Louch.

That

does it for Dropping This Week.

Hopefully more Hip-Hop is coming out soon.

Famed Rapper LL Cool J Cut From Sarah Palin’s Show

(AllHipHop News) LL Cool J’s appearance on a Fox News Channel special hosted by Sarah Palin has been cut, after the rapper complained about the interview on his Twitter page. Fox issued a statement today (March 31st) and admitted they used a 2008 interview featuring LL Cool J for a segment titled “Real American Stories.” “Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW,” LL Cool J Tweeted. “Real American Stories” is a one-hour series that is scheduled to debut Thursday (April 1st) at 10:00 PM. The show features other notable figures like General Electric’s Jack Welch, country singer Toby Keith and others. “Contrary to what was reported, LL Cool J was never scheduled to be a guest on ‘Real American Stories’ with Sarah Palin this week,” Rhett Usry told the Associated Press. “The show had planned to use an interview from 2008 that was being repurposed without LL’s permission. This statement is not a reflection of any feelings LL has toward Fox News or Ms. Palin, whom he has never met, rather a clarification of what we have seen published in the media.”LL Cool J has not issued a statement in regards to being removed from “Real American Stories.”
