(AllHipHop News) Rap star 50 Cent has landed a spot on the first upcoming posthumous CD Michael from legendary entertainer Michael Jackson, which is a 10-song album due in stores on December 14th. 50 Cent is featured on the song “Monster,” which he has dubbed a “2010 version of ‘Thriller,’ during an interview on Michael Jackson’s official website, MJJackson.com. According to 50 Cent, he missed the opportunity to work with Michael Jackson in the studio, although he did have the chance to speak to the legendary singer before he died on June 25, 2009. “I didn’t have the opportunity to physically be in Michael Jackson’s presence,” 50 Cent said in the interview. “My DJ, Whoo Kid, he had the opportunity to actually meet Mike, because he was interested in working with me and he said that he had something he wanted me to actually hear, a song he created.”The track “Monster” was produced by R&B vet Teddy Riley, who has crafted memorable hits for Michael Jackson like “Remember the Time,” “Jam” and “In The Closet.” “I missed an opportunity to be on a record not just with a great artist, but a legend,” 50 Cent said. “So I wanted more, and I made adjustments to my cadence so I don’t sound like I sound on music that people have previously heard from me, because I’m adjusting to the production.”
