(AllHipHop News) It looks like G Herbo sparked a new trend in rap music. A clip of the Chicagoan freestyling to Three 6 Mafia’s “Who Run It” at K104 went viral and even got a co-sign from Drake.
The Instagram video collected over 1 million views. Herb then recorded an official version which is currently north of 640,000 plays on the WorldStar YouTube page.
A$AP Rocky decided to hop on the beat too. The Harlem emcee uploaded a video to his own IG page featuring new bars over “We Run It.”
The last few weeks have seen several people tackle the track. Lil Uzi Vert reportedly recorded a verse for a remix with G Herbo, and YouTube is filled with other rappers trying their hand at Triple 6’s banger from 2000.
