(AllHipHop News) New Castle, Delaware native Ryan Phillippe has joined the cast of 50 Cent’s upcoming movie Setup, which is currently in production in Grand Rapids, Michigan. According to reports, Phillippe will take the role left void by Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, who is no longer attached to the project. 50’s production company Cheetah Vision is in the final stages signing Phillippe to star in the film, which has a budget of $20 million dollars. Phillippe, who has starred in movies like Cruel Intentions, 54 and Crash, will reportedly star as “Vincent” in the film, which also stars Bruce Willis and Jenna Dewan Tatum. Yesterday, rapper 50 Cent was in Grand Rapids yesterday (December 5th), filming a robbery scene for Setup, which centers around a diamond heist gone bad. Setup, which is being directed by Mike Gunther, will resume filming around Grand Rapids today (December 6th) and more scenes are slated to be shot in the city on December 13th.
