(AllHipHop News) St. Louis artist Nelly will be the first rapper ever to perform in the resort town of Branson, Missouri next month. According to reports, Nelly is slated to hit the stage during the reopening of the Grand Palace, which is undergoing renovations. The rapper is slated to thrill fans in the Grand Palace’s parking area, because the main building is still undergoing construction. Representatives for the Grand Palace said that Nelly’s concert was the start of an attempt to expand Branson’s musical offerings to include Hip-Hop, R&B and other genres of music. Nelly’s first Hip-Hop performance in Branson will take place August 21st. Marion “Suge” Knight has once again run afoul of the law. According to TMZ.com, the former CEO of Death Row Records was due in court for driving with a suspended license in 2009. An arrest warrant has been issued for Knight, who was supposed to appear in court to answer the charges last week. In May, was busted for driving with a suspended license, after cops arrested him for allegedly pointing a gun at another man during an altercation. The gun charge against Knight was later dropped. Snoop Dogg has announced a marketing partnership with Landy Cognac.
