(AllHipHop News) Rapper/actor Romeo Miller has signed on to star opposite Angela Bassett in Columbia Pictures’ upcoming comedy, Jump the Broom. The comedy, which is being directed by Salim Akil, centers around two black families that clash during a weekend getaway to Martha’s Vineyard. Romeo will star as “Sebastion,” a senior at Yale who falls in love with a girl from a rival family. The movie is slated to start shooting in Novia Scotia this summer. Missy Elliott was forced off the stage during London’s Wireless Music Festival on Saturday (July 3rd) after exceeding the time allowed for her set. According to reports, Elliott was about 20 minutes late for the show, which took place in Hyde Park. When Elliott attempted to make up for lost time by performing extra songs, organizers cut her sound, resulting in a chorus of boos from the crowd. Other performers during the event included Jay-Z, Pink, Snoop Dogg, Wale, Plan B., Mr. Hudson and others. South Korea defeated France during the R-16 Korea 2010 B-Boy/Breakdancing competition yesterday (July 4th). Over 120 international B-Boy crews from 16 countries battled it out July 3rd-4th at Olympic Park in Jamsil, Seoul during the fourth annual event. According to reports, the Koreans defeated the French during an intense performance battle. The event also featured a graffiti festival and un urban-themed flea market.
