Rapper Trinidad James has joined the cast of “Pitch Perfect 3.” The Georgia-based hip hop star will play a member of a vocal group competing against Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson’s the “Barden Bellas” in the sequel. Hailee Steinfeld, Anna Camp, Ruby Rose, and Brittany Snow will also appear in the film, which is currently being shot in Atlanta with Trish Sie in the director’s chair.
Former 106 & Park host Terrence J has landed a first look deal with MTV and VH1. Terrence, who currently works as the host of “Are You The One?” and “America’s Next Top Model” live after show “Aftermatch,” will develop both shows to be considered for airing on both networks. Additionally, Terrence J will be an on air host for live events, after shows and original series for both MTV and VH1. “MTV and VH1 are some of the most iconic television brands in the world,” Terrence J said. “I grew up watching both and I can’t wait to bring my point of view in programming and personality to these networks and their loyal viewers.” In addition to his hosting duties, Terrence has starred in “Think Like A Man,” and “Think Like a Man 2,” in addition to penning a book titled “The Wealth of My Mother’s Wisdom.”
Rapper DJ Khaled has snapped up Robbie Williams’ former pad in Beverly Hills. The new dad paid a reported $9.9 million for the seven-bedroom mansion. Former “Take That” star Robbie bought the home from country singer Clint Black in 2002 and offloaded it to an unnamed music producer. DJ Khaled’s new palace features a recording studio, a swimming pool with a waterfall, and an outdoor kitchen.
