Birdman and Slim To Hand Out Enough Food to Feed 50,000 People During All-Star Weekend

BIRDMAN AND SLIM GIVE BACK DURING ALL-STAR WEEKEND!

(AllHipHop News) Cash Money Records CEOs have partnered with Goldman Sachs for a philanthropic event that will take place during NBA All-Star weekend.

Bryan “Baby” Birdman and his brother Ronald “Slim” Williams will host a “Food Packing Party” tomorrow (February 16).

The event with Goldman Sachs will take place at the New Home Full Gospel Ministries from 4 to 7 PM and is sponsored in association with the brothers’ nonprofit organization, the Johnny and Gladys Williams Foundation.

The siblings will also address students at Cohen College Preparatory High School, to share inspirational stories to over 450-plus students.

Then, over 200 volunteers from St. Augustine High School, and the Good Will of New Orleans, The Pack Shack, and other organizations will hand out enough food to feed 50,000 people less fortunate people throughout New Orleans.

“It’s our 20 year anniversary as a major label distributed through Republic Records/UMG and we wanted to celebrate this milestone by giving back as much as we can during 2017,” said Ronald “Slim” Williams. “We’ve done the turkey giveaway for the past 20 years but we felt like we could do more.”

Over the weekend Birdman will also host three All-Star weekend events at the House of Blues, including a performance by the Big Tymers (Birdman and Mannie Fresh) tomorrow (February 16).

On Friday (February 17), the label will celebrate their 20th anniversary and Birdman will close out the weekend with a star-studded birthday bash on Sunday (February 19).
