member Taboo was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence outside
of Los Angeles, CA early Tuesday morning (Mar. 27). Taboo,
born Jaime Luis Gomez, was arrested after he was involved in a minor collision.
Police
cited the Grammy Award winning rapper for possession of less than an ounce of
marijuana, possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription, and DUI.
He was
released and must appear in court at an undisclosed time and date. In
related BEP news, group member Fergie has signed on to design two new handbag
collections starting in 2007 for Kipling North America. The
collection, which marks Fergie’s first foray into handbag designs, is due in stores
starting Sept. 1 at select retailers. Fergie’s
Kipling designed collections will be supported with advertising, in-store signing
events and personal appearances by Fergie.
