According to published reports, authorities claim that a shooting that took place on rapper Cam’Ron’s tour bus as the rapper and his crew, The Diplomats, were traveling early morning Wed. While in Boston, the group was touring in support of their upcoming CD, Diplomatic Immunity.
Investigating authorities claim the gunfire came from a tour bus and was directed at a 2003 Toyota Camry that contained three female passengers. Both the tour bus and an accompanying Ford Excursion traveled south on Interstate Route 128 at pproximately 2:40 a.m.
According to Launch.com, two of 13 passengers on the bus were arrested and charged with multiple crimes. Accused shooter Orlando Young of the Bronx and Piri Pantoja of Richmond, Virginia were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm without a license and three counts of assault with intent to murder. Police state that Young was positively identified by a witness.
Police charge that they also found three handguns in the SUV.
The driver Monique E. Garnett was charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a class D controlled substance. A passenger, Keith Blacknell of New York, allegedly possessed a pair of illegal firearms and was subsequently charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a class D controlled substance.
While Cam’Ron and The Diplomats were present during the fire fight none of the members were charged with any crime.
