(AllHipHop News) Oprah Winfrey’s riveting speech at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards earned the legendary entertainer a standing ovation as well as calls for a presidential run. #Oprah2020 even became the top trending topic on Twitter.
Charlamagne Tha God used another social media platform to share his thoughts about a possible Winfrey Administration. The Breakfast Club host posted a photo on Instagram of Oprah, media personality Gayle King, and filmmaker Ava DuVernay.
The caption for the picture read:
I would have no problem with the #Oprah2020 talk IF the current bar for President wasn’t set so Low. If we basing it on Dolt 45 being in the White House then its an insult to God’s Only Begotten Daughter Ms. Oprah Winfrey BUT you can’t tell me this wouldn’t be an awesome cabinet tho!!! It would be like having the Dora Milaje in the White House.
Los Angeles Times writer Amy Kaufman tweeted that Winfrey’s longtime partner Stedman Graham relayed about Winfrey seeking the presidency, “It’s up to the people. She would absolutely do it.” Other celebrities – like Mariah Carey and Quincy Jones – reacted to Oprah’s passionate message after accepting her Cecil B. DeMille award as well.
