The rapper, known for hits like “Players,” shared the news on Monday (June 16) by posting a photo on her Instagram Story showing off her daughter’s tiny hand grasping her finger.
Although she kept many details private, the image offered fans a glimpse of Miyoco in a soft pink Polo onesie, capturing Leray’s first moments as a mother. The baby’s father is fellow rapper Trippie Redd, with whom Coi Leray had a high-profile, on-and-off relationship leading up to the birth.
Throughout her pregnancy, Leray openly documented her journey, from the vibrant Hello Kitty-themed baby shower—where the name Miyoco first appeared in the décor—to her reflections on impending motherhood and the transformation it brought to her outlook on life.
Despite public drama and her split from Trippie Redd earlier in the year, Leray expressed gratitude and determination, stating her desire to set a strong example for her daughter. Trippie was hoping the baby would be born on his birthday, June 18. As he wrote in a Twitter (X) post in April, “Yall my daughter tryna share my bday lol .That’s gone be her damn day now.”
The couple’s relationship had been contentious at best since January, when Coi accused Trippie of cheating. She wrote at the time, “Nothing worse than being cheated on. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.” Although neither has publicly confirmed their breakup, they appear to have gone their separate ways sometime between January and April of this year.
