(AllHipHop News) When Drake and Charlamagne Tha God posted a picture of them together to their respective Instagram pages, many observers wondered if that connection would lead to something more.
Perhaps Drake would finally sit down with The Breakfast Club for an interview. The highly anticipated Q&A has yet to happen due to years of Charlamagne criticizing Drake about his music.

According to DJ Akademiks, a potential Drizzy/CTG public discussion could happen. The popular social media personality revealed on Twitch that he spoke with Charlamagne after the IG photos went viral.
“I was telling him Drake is not going to have an interview with y’all. Again, I can’t tell y’all everything. He mentioned on the podcast about what conversation he had. But I don’t know, it might happen,” said Akademiks. “I was about to bet him like, ‘I bet you will not get a Drake interview on Power 105.’ But he told me some things that Drake told him that he hasn’t divulged.”
He added, “All I can say to y’all is supposedly Drizzy is… in the likelihood of him doing an interview with a real Hip Hop outlet… supposedly he’s ready to come clean… Come clean like, ‘This is what music is going on with now and I’m gonna be the change.'”
Apparently, Charlamagne told Akademiks that Drake was honest about his creative process during their encounter at the “Summer Sixteen Tour” stop in New York City.
“I was like, ‘Even if he kept it trill with you there, ain’t no way he comes on an interview and keeps it trill like that,'” stated Akademiks. “Because if he does, he’s basically admitting, ‘I’m no longer in this top emcee sh-t no more.’ Like it’s a wrap.”
