Rapper Drake Tops Billy Ray Cyrus, While “Views” Blocks Gucci From #1 Spot

DRAKE’S ON TOP AGAIN!

(AllHipHop News) Drake’s Views keep getting better as he extends his chart-topping run to 12 non-consecutive weeks on America’s Billboard 200.

The Canadian rapper now boasts the longest reign at number one since the Frozen soundtrack ruled for 13 weeks in 2014, and the most by a solo artist since Adele’s 21 scored a total of 24 weeks in 2011 and 2012.

Drake also becomes the first male musician to score 12 weeks in pole position since Billy Ray Cyrus’ Some Gave All dominated the Billboard 200 in 1992.

The continued popularity of Views prevents fellow Hip-Hop star Gucci Mane from landing at the top – his first post-prison release, Everybody Looking, debuts at two.

Twenty One Pilots’ Blurryface and Rihanna’s Anti remain at three and four, respectively, while the Epic AF compilation rises one place to five.
