(AllHipHop News) Rapper Fat Joe celebrated the opening of his first sneaker store over the weekend.
Joey Crack opened up his UpNYC sneaker store, which is located at 158th and Broadway in Harlem.
The grand opening was a huge success for the rapper, who drew a large crowd, in addition to some celebrities.
Former foe 50 Cent even stopped by to support the Terror Squad leader’s new business.
Fat Joe discussed his positive outlook in an interview with AllHipHop.com, where he expressed his gratitude to fans for supporting his career, from his 1993 debut “Flow Joe” to his most recent smash, “All The Way Up.”
“You gotta understand most of us grew up in poverty with a dream and all the stripes against us. The fact we’re able to make music, make money, have fans, and make our dreams come true – we really gotta appreciate that,” Fat Joe told AllHipHop.com.
“That doesn’t happen for everybody. So take care of your family, pay your bills, and take care of your health,” Fat Joe said. “That’s the most important thing, not getting to a level where you’re going to get in trouble.”
