DJ Fatman Scoop has announced the launch of his new podcast, mobile, TV and radio show, Man And Wife, featuring himself and his wife Shanda.
Scoop, born Isaac Freeman III, has partnered with Vidavee, the creators of the “Quick Time” format, to produce the innovative show, designed to give viewers/listeners an “interactive and insightful role in steamy and wildly naughty banter between the Sexes and a couple really in love,” according to a press release.
“One night when I was in bed talking to Shanda, about what I can’t even remember, I realized the conversation was hilarious,” Scoop said. “I realized my own wife was witty, funny and sharp!! Man And Wife was born!”
The new show will launch Nov. 2 at club Comix in New York.
The initial show finds Scoop and Shanda offering six minutes of sex and relationship advice to viewers, completely unadulterated and raw.
The podcast will be available online at manandwife.tv.
Scoop’s booming baritone became known world wide on singles such as “It’s Like That” by Mariah Carey and “Lose Control” by Missy Elliot, for which he also won two Grammy’s.
The DJ was also behind the track “Be Faithful,” with the Crooklyn Clan, which hit No. 1 in the U.K. and Ireland in late 2003 and the top 5 in Australia.
