(AllHipHop News) Flavor Flav was granted leniency in a speeding case thanks to a Long Island judge.

The New York judge release the rapper without bail today after the rapper pleaded not guilty.

The Public Enemy hype man was headed to his mother’s funeral on January 9 when he was arrested for speeding and driving without a license.

According to the AP, he was driving 79 mph in a 55 mph zone on Long Island and also had a bit of marijuana on him as well.

The rapper, now a resident of Las Vegas, paid off several outstanding traffic infractions.

He told the Associated Press “God is good” as he left the courthouse.
