Rap star Flo Rida has hit back at allegations that he was involved in an incident that authorities have labeled an act of animal cruelty.

 

Flo Rida, born Tramar Dillard, was in Lexington, Kentucky to promote his album R.O.O.T.S., which lands in stores March 31st.

 

An eye witness called local Animal Control authorities and claimed they saw two men step of Flo Rida’s tour bus and kill a rabbit.

 

According to reports, Kentucky Animal Control, local police and State Police are seeking to question Flo Rida and his entourage.

 

In an exclusive statement to AllHipHop.com, Flo Rida denied involvement in the incident.

 

“While no one in my party was in any way involved in any incident, the media report that I saw was sickening,” Flo Rida told AllHipHop.com exclusively. “As an animal lover, I would never want to see cruelty inflicted upon them.”
