(AllHipHop News) South Florida rapper Kodak Black was sentenced to 120 days in county jail, after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges in a Fort Pierce courtroom Monday, September 19.
According to Sun Sentinel, the rapper will also have his driver license suspended for a year and will be required to pay court costs of $298.
However, Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave,, will not have to serve the entire four month sentence, as he was given credit for time served.
“At the end of the day, for St. Lucie County, I think he did well,” stated Kodak’s attorney, James Regan.
Kodak Black pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis, and a misdemeanor charge of use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
The latest case for the rapper stems from a traffic stop last Christmas on Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County.
The 19-year-old artist has also been accused of sexual battery in an incident that occurred in February at a hotel in Florence, South Carolina.
An August 16 plea deal granted to the rapper was quickly overruled after the St.Lucie and South Carolina arrest warrants were discovered.
