Lil Tjay & 6lack’s “Calling My Phone” Debuts In The Top 10 In 8 Different Countries

The NYC rapper and the ATL singer both earn career chart peaks on the Hot 100.

Before this week, the Bronx’s Lil Tjay never had a Hot 100 Top 10 single and Atlanta’s 6lack never had a Top 40 single. “Calling My Phone” changed those stats for both musicians.

After reaching #1 on the daily Spotify and Apple Music charts, there was a good chance “Calling My Phone” would open high on the Hot 100. Lil Tjay’s latest single featuring 6lack debuted on the tally at #3.

The record is not only charting well in the United States. “Calling My Phone” is also seeing instant chart success in other countries around the world. It currently sits at #2 on Billboard‘s Global 200 chart and #9 on Billboard‘s Global Excluding U.S. chart.

“Calling My Phone” hit #1 in Canada. Plus, the collaboration managed a #2 listing in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Ireland. Besides America, the Columbia/Sony release also peaked at #3 in Norway and Australia. The duo made it to #10 in Switzerland too.

The track has amassed more than 60 million global streams. A Cam Busby-directed music video for “Calling My Phone” has collected more than 16 million views on YouTube since it premiered on February 12. The song is also popular on the TikTok social media app.
