Rapper/actor LL Cool J is no longer a part of Janet Jackson’s Rock Witchu tour.
The Hip-Hop star’s publicity firm cited unnamed scheduling conflicts as the reason for the rapper dropping out as Jackson’s opening act.
The loss, which was announced Monday (October 27), is the newest development in a string of problems for Jackson, who recently resumed the tour after canceling a series of earlier concert dates.
The cancellations stemmed from the singer being diagnosed with “migraine-associated vertigo.”
Jackson, who returned to the stage October 15, is currently being treated for the condition, which includes symptoms such as dizziness and imbalance.
Last week, the vocalist thanked fans for their support during her illness via a YouTube video. “I want to thank you for all your messages and all your love and support when I wasn’t feeling very well,” Jackson said. “I’m a lot better now.”
Despite Cool J’s departure, Jackson will continue the tour, as she is expected to announce more concert dates.
Jackson will take the stage on Saturday (November 1) for a performance in New York.
