Meek Calls Deadly Shooting “A Lie” But Police Identify Two Victims

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill took to Instagram to deny reports of a shooting the claimed the life of two people after one of his concerts in Connecticut over the weekend.

In a since deleted Instagram post, Meek downplayed reports that two people were killed and two others were wounded in front of The Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, after his performance on Friday (December 30).

“They really trying to slow these bags up. Looking at this s##t…two people died, two people got shot … it’s a lie,” the rapper said in a deleted Snap. “Someone hating trying to slow these bags up, cause we scoopin’ up 250’s.”

However, the Wallingford police have identified the two men who were actually murdered after attending the rap concert.

Police said New Haven residents Travis Ward, 31 and Jacquan Graves, 20 were the victims of the shooting.

The two other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and have been released from local hospitals.

Police are continuing their hunt for the murder suspects.
