Megan Thee Stallion currently has the most popular song in America. The LilJuMadeDaBeat-produced song “Hiss” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In addition to being a commercial hit, “Hiss” inflamed fellow Hip-Hop recording artist Nicki Minaj. The Young Money representative went on a week-long tirade against Megan Thee Stallion.
Nicki Minaj also blasted LilJuMadeDaBeat on social media, specifically during an X Spaces with rapper-turned-podcaster Joe Budden. The Pink Friday 2 album creator repeatedly referred to the producer as “doo doo on the beat.”
LilJuMadeDaBeat returned fire at Nicki Minaj after Megan’s “Hiss” opened in the Hot 100’s top spot. The Texas-born beatmaker threw shade at Minaj in a tweet posted on Monday (February 5).
“Lil Doo Doo On The Beat Produced A Number 1 Hit,” LilJuMadeDaBeat posted in response to Chart Data‘s tweet announcing Megan Thee Stallion’s single landing at No. 1.
Previously, Nicki Minaj accused LilJuMadeDaBeat of not clearing a six-year-old track she wanted to use for her “Big Foot” diss record directed at Megan. “Big Foot” eventually came out with production by Tate Kobang. It debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Hiss” became Megan Thee Stallion’s third chart-topper on the Hot 100 chart. The self-described Houston Hottie also led those weekly rankings with “Savage” featuring Beyoncé and as a guest feature on Cardi B’s “WAP.”
