(AllHipHop News) Dr. Dre’s ex-girlfriend Michel’le is planning a return to the music industry after a 12-year hiatus from recording music. Representatives for Michel’le confirmed that Michel’le is planning to release an album of new material in 2011. Despite the lack of physical releases over the years, the singer has stayed busy working throughout the past 21-years, since the release of her self-titled debut for Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records. Michel’le Toussaint launched her career as the backing vocalist on the World Class Wreckin’ Cru’s smash hit single “Turn Off the Lights.” She also hit big with her 1989 debut, which yielded hit singles like “No Nore Lies,” “Nicety” and “Keep Watchin'” and the ballad “Something in My Heart,” all considered Hip-Hop classics, produced by Dr. Dre. Michel’le’s recording career detoured around the release of her sophomore album Hung Jury (1998), which was released on Death Row Records almost 10 years after her debut recording.Michel’le has a son by Dr. Dre and a daughter by Marion “Suge” Knight.
