(AllHipHop News) Back on February 25, 2001, a shootout took place outside the Hot 97 radio station in New York.
The situation became a major news story and eventually led to Lil Kim going to prison for perjury and obstruction of justice.
Kim and Capone of Capone-N-Noreaga were at Hot 97 for separate interviews that day. It was believed the violence broke out as a result of Foxy Brown dissing the Queen Bee on the C-N-N song “Bang Bang.”
Capone-N-Noreaga first denied any involvement in the shooting, but Capone testified at Kim’s trial that someone did approach his entourage to ask if he had a problem with the “No Matter What They Say” rapper.
It appears the episode may have kept C-N-N and Kim apart for years. However, N.O.R.E. (aka Noreaga) recently announced he met with Kim for the first time since the “alleged incident.”
