(AllHipHop News) Twitter released its “Year In Music’ recap. Billboard posted the results of the social media platform’s look back at the most shared celebrities and tweets of 2017.

K-pop group BTS were the most tweeted-about musicians in the United States. Even without releasing an album this year, rap superstar Nicki Minaj made it to the runner-up position. Chance The Rapper (#4) followed One Direction member Harry Styles (#3).

In addition, outspoken basketball patriarch LaVar Ball and DJ Khaled’s infant son Asahd Khaled made the Top 10 of the “Most Popular Celebrities Who Joined In 2017.” Even though it was canceled by Netflix, Hip Hop drama The Get Down was the 7th most tweeted about streaming TV show in America.

Twitter also revealed the most liked tweet and most retweeted tweet of 2017. Carter Wilkerson’s (@carterjwm) post about Wendy’s chicken nuggets received over 3.6 million retweets, and former President Barack Obama’s response to the Alt-Right/white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia was liked more than 4.6 million times.
