(AllHipHop News) According to a tweet sent from Gucci Mane’s certified Twitter account, the Atlanta rapper is scheduled to be released from prison sometime in 2015. But despite being incarcerated, Gucci has continued to release music including 2014’s Trap House 4.

Longtime Gucci collaborator Zaytoven produced tracks for TH4 as well as earlier projects like Trap House, Hard To Kill, and Trap-A-Thon. Zay spoke with DJ Smallz Eye about the Brick Squad leader’s ability to drop music even when he is not a free man and his influence on rappers that came after him.
“This is one guy you can’t beat when it comes to work ethic. This guy literally can sleep for two hours a day and work the rest of the day,” said Zaytoven. “He’s one of the best of our time to do this, especially rap music or trap music. I think a lot of people stem from Gucci Mane. A lot of the new artists today come from him… He’s the godfather of a lot of this music going on.”
