Life at the USC may be calling, but rapper Romeo continues to push his rap career with his new single “Get Low Wit It.”
The track, a collaboration with R&B crooner Akon, is the first single off Romeo’s forthcoming album High School Romance.
A video for the song will also feature the duo, who are offering fans the chance to participate in the filming of the “Get Low Wit It” music video.
Fans can submit their information to http://www.officialromeo.com/getlow. Deadline for submissions is Tuesday (April 22).
Fans can also voice their support of “Get Low Wit It” by uploading a video of their own Get Low Wit It” dance to YouTube at http://youtube.com/group/GetLowWitIt.
The best videos will be receive exposure on Romeo’s official websites.
The release of “Get Low Wit It” comes amid news of Romeo co-starring with his father, rap mogul Percy Master P Miller, in the upcoming horror movie The Pig People.
Romeo’s film and music endeavors are among the items occupying the rapper’s time as he prepares to attend USC on a full scholarship.
Romeo, who averaged 13.9 and 5.6 assists per-game with the Beverly Hills High School boys basketball team during the 2006 season, is planning to make his college basketball debut at the school this fall. Romeo’s High School Romance is slated to hit stores in August.
