(AllHipHop News) Russell Simmons’ public relations nightmare over sexual misconduct allegations has apparently turned into a legal matter. According to TMZ, Jennifer Jarosik is suing the businessman for $5 million in punitive damages and unspecified actual damages.
Jarosik claims Simmons, a supposed longtime friend, raped her in his home in 2016. She asserts the alleged assault left her “sick, sore, lame, disabled and disordered, both internally and externally and suffered from extreme emotional distress.”
Simmons has been accused of various forms of sexual aggression by multiple women. He denied previous accusations are accurate, but the 60-year-old All Def Digital founder did step down from his companies in November following a THR article about some of his accusers.
