Swizz Beatz has partnered with Chris Brancato to launch a new production company focusing on inclusive storytelling.

Swizz Beatz is stepping deeper into Hollywood, teaming up with Chris Brancato to launch a new production company focused on developing television, film and podcast content, according to Variety.

The duo, who previously collaborated on Godfather of Harlem, are building on their creative momentum with a fresh slate of projects. Their next series, The Westies, is set to begin production in July 2025.

The company’s name has not yet been announced, but the mission is clear: to deliver inclusive, high-impact storytelling across multiple platforms.

“Moving into producing and creating new shows with [Brancato] felt incredibly natural and organic,” Swizz Beatz said. “That’s our vibe, our inclusive chemistry, fueling and driving each other to spark fresh creative ideas.”

Swizz Beatz has built a career that stretches far beyond music. A Grammy-winning producer and co-founder of the Verzuz music battle series with Timbaland, he’s also an art collector, fashion collaborator and Harvard Business School graduate.

His business portfolio includes partnerships with prominent brands such as Reebok and Aston Martin, and he has served as a global ambassador for Bacardi.

Brancato, best known for co-creating Narcos and Narcos: Mexico, has a long track record of writing and producing crime dramas. His credits include Hannibal, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Sopranos.

His storytelling often explores the intersection of power, crime and culture, making him a natural fit for Beatz’s creative sensibilities.

Their partnership blends Brancato’s experience in scripted television with Swizz Beatz’s cultural influence and entrepreneurial drive. Together, they aim to create content that reflects a wide range of voices and perspectives.
