(AllHipHop News) The life of UGK founding group member rapper Pimp C. will be celebrated during the 2nd Annual Chad “Pimp C” Butler Hip Hop, Health & Wellness Fair. The event is being co-produced by the CCM Foundation and the UGQ Company, which was founded by Pimp C’s wife, Chinara Butler.The Pimp C Hip Hop Health and Awareness Fair encourages teens and young adults to acknowledge and realize the importance of regular physical examines, frequent HIV/STD testing, drug prevention and abuse. This year’s event will take place in Houston, Texas, with the stupor of a variety of Texas legends. Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Devin the Dude and DJ Michael Watts will hit the stage to entertain attendees, while delivering the day’s important message. Today (December 4th) marks the third anniversary of the death of Pimp C., who was found dead in his sleep, due to a combination of promethazine and codeine and a pre-existing breathing condition. The rapper, who started the seminal Hip-Hop group Underground Kings (UGK) with partner Bun-B in 1988, enjoyed one of the longest careers in Hip-Hop with the group until his untimely demise.”Today we remember the life of my brother Chad Lamont Butler,” UGK group member Bun B. tweeted today. “We never stop thinking about you.
