Tupac Shakur’s Hip-Hop group The Outlawz have announced plans to expand internationally with the launch of Outlaw Recordz Australia.
To solidify their presence in the country, the group has teamed with local rappers Young Bleezy and Rukas of The Youngline Cartel.
Rukas will be president and CEO of the new label, while Young Bleezy will be co-CEO and resident producer for Outlaw Recordz Australia.
The Outlawz, formed by the late Tupac Shakur, have done just that, forming Outlaw Recordz Australia.
“We plan to use this new company to not only further the Outlawz brand in Australia but to also help develop talent down there, as well as offer Australian’s American products they may not have had access to in the past,” Young Noble told AllHipHop.com in a statement.
A collaborative effort between The Outlawz and local artists titled America 2 Australia: The Best of the Best, will be produced during the group’s tour of Australia this month.
“They love and support real Hip-Hop and Australia really has great artists too,” Young Noble continued. “We are very excited about going back for this tour and looking forward to recording this album with all the top Aussie talent.”
The Outlawz will hit Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane during their tour of Australia, which takes place September 13-21st.
