Rap group The Youngbloodz
and 12 members of their entourage appeared in Coweta County Superior Court in
Georgia yesterday (Jan. 11) to answer drug and weapons charges, stemming from
an June 1 traffic incident.The
group was
enroute to a show in Columbus, GA on June 1, when police pulled noticed the
tour bus’s Florida tags were expired. A
search yielded almost a half-pound of marijuana, as well as smaller separate bags
hidden throughout the bus. Also
found was a .40 caliber glock and .45 caliber handgun. he
Youngbloodz, which includes Sean Paul and The, both pleaded not guilty to possession
of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a gun/knife while committing
a crime. Ten
of the 12 men that were on the bust have also been indicted on the same charges.The
Youngbloodz are due back in court Feb. 19.
