Young Thug Earns His First No. 1 Album With ‘So Much Fun’

Quality Control lands in the Top 3.

(AllHipHop News) Young Thug has the top-selling album in the country. So Much Fun collected 131,000 first-week equivalent units.

This gives Thugger his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Previously, the Atlanta-raised rapper made it into the Top 10 with Super Slimey (#2), Beautiful Thugger Girls (#8), Jeffery (#8) and Slime Season 3(#7).

So Much Fun earned the second-largest streaming week for a Hip Hop release in 2019 (167.9 million). The project features J. Cole, Travis Scott, Future, Gunna, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Quavo, Juice WRLD, and other artists. 

Quality Control: Control the Streets, Volume 2 compilation debuts at #3 with 63,000 units. Control the Streets, Volume 1 peaked at #5 in 2017.
