How are Nas’ money and other assets looking?

According to The Jasmine Brand:

Rapper Nas (real name Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones) is accused of refusing to pay nearly $300K in state taxes for close to a decade and now the Department of Revenue is on the hunt for his assets. The 41-year-old legendary emcee was originally slapped with a lien by the Georgia Department of Revenue back in 2009 for failing to pay a total of $276,439.80 in unpaid state taxes for 2006. However, Nas reportedly hasn’t paid on the debt for nearly a decade and the state has been attempting to find his assets and property to seize, so they can collect on their money. According to docs filed in Georgia on April 3rd, the Department of Revenue has re-filed the tax lien and also stated that following their investigation they have found no property of assets to seize that belong to Nas.

Charlamagne spoke with ThisIs50 about the highly discussed Dash interview. According to the South Carolina native, he changed his approach with the Roc-A-Fella co-founder for a reason.

Charlamagne also claimed it was simply a coincidence he was wearing a Roc Nation hat and Jay Z t-shirt on the day Dame visited Power 105. The two-part Dame Dash interview has over 1 million views on YouTube, and the conversation sparked debate about the value of work and entrepreneurship on social media and elsewhere.

See.Francis – “Passion”

As usual, see’s quick-witted and complex lyricism offers enough content to keep your mind turning. Between passions for flashin’ or designer fashion, it seems the bigger picture is that passion is see’s drive and fuel for basically everything. Production, supplied by The Vamp, is initially simplistic and drum heavy before switching to a slower, haunting sound somewhere around the 2 minute mark to match see’s staccato flow. “Passion” comes as the first release from see.francis’s upcoming project titled “L!GH+$viaXXXX”, which we can expect later this year.
