Daylyt Has A Message For His Critics + Says His Soul Is "Clearly Up For Sale" (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Battle rapper Daylyt has built his brand partially off his willingness to do or say almost anything in public. The California representative has pulled out his privates during a battle, attempted to defecate on stage, and stated he wanted to have sex with Diddy.

All these comments and antics have led to some backlash from followers of the culture including complaints Day “sold out” for fame. He decided to address those critiques in a new video blog.

“‘Daylyt you sold your soul to the white man. I wonder how much the white man paid him to say that?”” says Daylyt quoting some of his critics. “The white man pays you $8.50 to clean toilet bowls and bust your ass… You sold your sold the minute you filled out that punk ass application at that minimum wage job.”

The controversial rhymer goes on to say he does not even have a soul to sell, because he hails from Watts. Day then continues by saying anyone that gets government assistance, such as public housing or EBT cards, have sold their soul to the Illuminati.

“Y’all don’t get the levels of this s**t. At this moment in life, I feel like I’m free, because nobody owns me,” declares Day. “Somebody does own me – my last name is Campbell. But at this moment I can say and do whatever the f**k I want. Nobody pays me for the s**t I do. When I say something dumb online, it gets uploaded and I get paid for the f**king views from it. Nobody pays me to say nothing.”

According to Day, his actions are part of his plan to establish lasting success for his family. The Dot Mobb member tells the camera he is willing to do anything and sacrifice himself in order to achieve that goal.

“If anybody is watching this – this goes to a higher power organization. Specifically Jewish, white – anybody that has billions and billions of dollars,” announces Daylyt. “I’m letting y’all know right now my soul is clearly up for sale.”

“Artists that are out now have their own style of doing things, but I love what they’re doing. Their world is a different style of hustling, but it’s dope,” says Killa. “I like Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne’s chemistry and how they do their thing.”

The man also known as Jamel Arief broke onto the music scene as a member of the Wu. The group’s debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is widely viewed as a Hip Hop classic. It has been over 20 years since that LP dropped. Killa reflects on how the game has changed since that time.

“At the time when I got to know Hip Hop, things were so rare that it actually had you stuck, even when we put our first album together. Making an album at that time was still kind of mystical to people,” adds Killa. “Now you can run into the average [rapper], and he has about ten albums in his backpack.”

Run The Jewels Discuss Their Black Youth/White Cop Themed Video For “Close Your Eyes"

(AllHipHop News) Last year Killer Mike was one of the most outspoken Hip Hop representatives during the national conversation on police brutality. The Atlanta emcee and his Run The Jewels partner El-P revisit the conversation in the new video for  “Close Your Eyes (And Count To F**k).”

The track off 2014’s Run The Jewels 2 album features Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against The Machine. Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire, Wolf of Wall Street) and Keith Stanfield (Selma, Straight Outta Compton) star in the AG Rojas directed visuals.

“This video represents the futile and exhausting existence of a purgatory-like law enforcement system. There is no neat solution at the end because there is no neat solution in the real world,” states Mike. “However, there is an opportunity to dialogue and change the way communities are policed in this country. Salutes to AG Rojas for his unique take on the subject matter and to Shea and Keith for giving us their all and bringing it to life.”

El-P adds, “This is a vision of a seemingly never-ending struggle whose participants are pitted against each other by forces originating outside of themselves.”

Rojas also released a statement about the video. It can be read in full here.

Was Malik Yoba Killed Off "Empire" For Gay Outing?

There were rumors that Malik Yoba was deaded on “Empire” because he said that his gay co-star was very active in the gay community. He also unwittingly revealed that the dude Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal on the show, was gay in real life. Now, Malik backtracked on this, but the damage was done. The word on the street was that Lee Daniel, who is the co-creator, of the show, was p##### at the “outing.” And POOF….Malik was gone from the show, despite being a major player. It was speculated that he was written out of the how for the error.
Malik took the time to dismiss the rumors and then some with Jet Magazine. ((Streets still talking though.))

JET: What is most disheartening  aspect of the situation and how have you been able to deal with it?

Malik Yoba:
The saddest part is that the same publications and radio stations that will ask you to interview to promote something you’re doing…they never called, never reached out to me to see if any of it is true, but people want to promote it for quick views and likes. The people who will smile in your face, call you their brother and say they support you are the same one’s who will go and promote these untruths. I pray for them all.

And so it’s just a sad commentary on the world we live in right now. In over two decades in this business or at any time before I’ve never ever had this type of negativity spoken or written about me. And it’s unfortunate because I have children. I take care of a family through what I do. And unfortunately, people have no regards for that. I’ve chosen to stay in my lane. I know what I’m about. I know what God I serve. I know why I’m here. A wise man said to me years ago – using a football analogy: “They can only hit you if you’re carrying the ball.” And clearly, I have a mission and I’ve been true to that mission for over 30 years and a history and legacy of service –that’s how I’m dealing with it.

Blind Rapper Named Stoneface Gets Freeway On "Calico Audio" Track

It’s next to impossible to stop someone on their path to greatness. While they may be faced with obstacles that may leave them second guessing their path at times, it’s the person that keeps going that will always prevail. Stoneface fits that archetype to the fullest; having lost his eye sight after getting shot at point blank range, he’s transformed his personal tragedy into story of perseverance and triumph.

On the visuals for “Calico Audio,” which serves as the debut single to Stoneface’s forthcoming LP, The Stone Age, ‘face is joined by fellow Philly rhymer, Freeway, as the two drop a series of bludgeoning bars over a horn heavy beat supplied by, BP. Under the direction of Inferno Productions, the duo are found carrying out a crosstown caper, in an illusive attempt to be the John Gottis of the rap game. Nonetheless, the visuals do their rhymes justice as they reflect the styles of both rappers: raw and to the point for fans of that street rap sound. Stay tuned for the forthcoming release of The Stone Age, which will be available on compact disc, and digital download on in the very near future through Gemstarr Regime Records.

Madonna Thinks Jay Z Can Get Her A White House Invitation?

Photo via Madonna’s Instagram

Madonna has let it be known that she is trying to get to the White House. In a recent interview with US Weekly’s Entertainment Director, Ian Drew, Madonna says she has never had the chance to meet President Barack Obama, but she would do whatever it takes to get an invitation to the White House. But does she really think her only chance to get an invitation is through one of Hip-Hop biggest moguls?

Madonna told US Weekly:

The person I most want to meet is President Obama. When the heck am I going to meet him? He just needs to invite me to the White House already. He probably thinks I’m too shocking to be there. I’m serious. If I was a little bit more demure…or if I was just married to Jay Z. Hey, if Jay would only take me as his second wife, then I’d score an invitation.
