Here is the rumor:

Actress Lupita Nyong’o has sparked rumours she is dating rapper/singer K’Naan after they were spotted leaving a talk show together this week.

The Oscar-winning 12 Years A Slave star was pictured embracing K’naan while exiting the Live! with Kelly and Michael show, which was filmed at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday.

Nyong’o was previously linked to actor/singer Jared Leto, but she laughed off the rumours, joking: “I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil Boosie Is A-OK!

Lil Boosie is good to go! There was a strong rumor from a reputable source that suggested that Boosie was going back to jail. Well that source has recanted that rumor and said he got some bad info.

SORRY!

RELATED: Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Lil Boosie Going Back In Legal Trouble?

This week, Boosie is going on a media TEAR! I’m thinking that those rumors of him signing to Rick Ross is BS. I can’t see that happening now that Boosie’s daughter said, “the streets are his.” Lets see that again!

Odd Beef: Frank Ocean Responds To Chipotle Suing Him For Over $200,000

(AllHipHop News) What’s beef? Beef is when you won’t sing to support beef. According to a suit filed Friday (March 7th), Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle sued Frank Ocean for failing to sing in a Chipotle commercial after agreeing.

The suit alleges that Ocean was set to record a song entitled “Pure Imagination” for the Chipotle ad and in July of 2013 was paid $212,500 with the rest coming after the song’s completion.

According the suit, Ocean was under the impression that the animated ad was meant to promote local foods and denounce industrial farming. Chipotle showed Frank a rough draft of the commercial that was “80 percent” finished and had no Chipotle logo. Ocean backed out of his involvement on August 7th, 2013 and a week later, his  camp sent a letter to Chipotle explaining Ocean’s decision:

When Frank was asked to participate in this project, Chipotle’s representatives told him that the thrust of the campaign was to promote responsible farming. There was no Chipotle reference or logo in the initial presentation, and Chipotle told Frank that was an intentional element of the campaign. Frank was also promised that he’d have the right to approve the master and all advertising.

Chipotle has denied all of Ocean’s allegations and is suing the singer for $212,500.

EXCLUSIVE: Torch Speaks On New EP, Says Biggie Remake Is Favorite Record On Rick Ross’ “Mastermind”

(AllHipHop News) Maybach Music Group artist Torch spoke with AllHipHop.com about a number of subjects while recording for his upcoming EP titled Remember When.

The Bronx-bred rapper revealed the significance of the title, as well as his plans for an upcoming collaboration record with “The King of Brooklyn,” rapper Maino, on a track titled “What Up.”

“Its like when you first set out to be in the game, you just want to keep it real. The title’s like ‘remember those days.’ It’s just the authentic beginning and ground roots of the game, that’s what we’re trying to capture with this project,” Torch told AllHipHop.com about the EP’s concept.

Torch also discussed working with Maino on the “What Up” track, which he described as a hardcore Hip-Hop track.

“It’s one of those essence tracks, it takes you back to the Onyx ‘Throw Ya Guns,’ M.O.P ‘Ante Up,’ Busta Rhymes energy,” Torch explained. “We tried to capture that New York feel. Maino, he been repping hard for the city, so its only right I throw the big homie on there.”

Torch also touched on Rick Ross’s new Mastermind, which is expected to top the Billboard Top 200 chart this week, with over 160,000 units sold since the album’s release on March 4.

Torch said his favorite track on the album was “Nobody,” which is Rick Ross, French Montana and Diddy’s remake of The Notorious B.I.G.’s classic song “You’re Nobody (‘Til Somebody Kills You).”

“That Mastermind album’s hard as f**k. My personal favorite track on the joint is the ‘Nobody’ joint with French and Puff,” Torch told AllHipHop.com. “It’s the Biggie throwback beat. That’s my favorite joint, because I’m a huge Biggie fan. When I heard them flip that, soon as the beat came on, I was sold.”

Jimmy Henchman Murder Trial Ends In Hung Jury

(AllHipHop News) The jury in James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond and Rodney Johnson’s trial could not agree on a verdict resulting in a mistrial. Rosemond and Johnson were charged with murder and conspiracy for allegedly taking part in a plot to kill Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.

The prosecution argued Rosemond paid for Fletcher to be murdered in 2009 as part of an ongoing street war between Henchman and 50 Cent’s G-Unit. Several former Rosemond associates testified against him in court, but his lawyer questioned the credibility of the witnesses on cross-examination.

Defense attorney Bruce J. Maffeo pointed out the prosecution’s key witnesses were all set to receive reduced sentences for their own previous convictions as a result of their testimonies in the case.

Rosemond is still serving a life sentence for unrelated drug trafficking and weapons possession convictions in 2013. Johnson was convicted earlier this week for conspiracy to distribute narcotics, weapons possession related to drug trafficking, and felony firearm possession.

KNOCKOUT NATION: Alfredo Angulo vs Canelo Alvarez: The Interview

Canelo vs. Angulo airs this Saturday (March 8) on Showtime pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET.

Under most circumstances, it is not in a boxer’s best interest to go “toe to toe” with an opponent. In a sport where the object is to “hit and not get hit,” standing in front of your opponent and trading concussive blows is literally flirting with physical and fiscal disaster. And yet, there are a select few that not only live this boxing mini-game of Russian Roulette, but excel at it.

Alfredo “El Perro” Angulo is one of those fighters. He is equally brutal in victory as he is in the defeat. It was the latter, a vicious battle with Erislandy Lara, that has earned Angulo his first pay-per-view opportunity, a March 8 all-Mexican showdown against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. And while Canelo is the star attraction of this contest, Angulo explains toKnockout Nation how he’s learned a few new tricks to possibly score the first major boxing upset of 2013.

Knockout Nation: Although you consider the ending on your exciting fight with Erislandy Lara a fluke because of the eye injury, you can’t deny that you were taking flush left hands on the area from the opening bell. What have you done in this camp to address your defensive holes?

Angulo: Yes, my coach Virgil Hunter has tried to make sure that I’m ready for different things and attacks. I fought fighters like Lara who are incredibly talented. But my style is always to come in and fight. That’s why the fans like me, because I bring the fight to people. There are many ways you can fight. You can even fight in the ring and still avoid the actual fight. That’s not my style and that’s why the fans want to see me fight.

Knockout Nation: Getting hit in boxing is inevitable, but the very nature of the Sweet Science is to “hit and not get hit.” With that said, how accurate do you feel promotion’s “Toe to Toe” tagline is compared to how you expect the fight to go?

Angulo: I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not, but this is what the fans want. They know I’m prepared to fight. I don’t know if that will work for my opponent. I prepared to bring a real fight.
