Hip-Hop Rumors: Shyne Calls Kanye West ALL THE WAY OUT!

Yooooooooooo!!!!

Shyne just called Kanye all the way out! Kanye is now becoming as well known for his rants as much as his music. But Shyne who can be a bit of a hood philosopher himself has some comments for Yeezy, who has been griping over the fashion industry’s lack of including him. WELP! Ish just got real and Shyne tells Kanye that he needs to let the people know about the conditions in his native CHI-TOWN. More killing going on than a little bit in the place where Kanye was born.

Here is what Shyne said:

Hip-Hop Rumors: Amber Rose Disses Kim Kardashian Over Post-Baby Surgery

Lazy day. Yes its Thanksgiving and yes I’m overeating. But, there are a couple of rumors going on. You may have seen that it has been rumored by myself and others that Kim Kardashian used surgical means to get her body back. Anyway, Amber Rose, Kanye West’s ex, seemingly hit Kimmie with some tough subliminal jabs in a recent post.

I think she’s dissing and at the same time showing that she’s still got it.

A Special Thanksgiving Dedication From AllHipHop.com: Ode To Clayton Perry (RIP)

“Ours was a friendship forged once in this life and again in the next.”

Today many people will be stuffing their faces, celebrating with family and engaging in other festivities like lazily watching football games. We’ll be doing these things as well, but with a decidedly somber heart.

Earlier this month, AllHipHop lost one in Clayton Perry, one of the finest writers to ever contribute to AllHipHop.com.

I met Clayton several years ago through a mutual friend, Ed Garnes. Ed and I had known each other through the public speaking circuit and he came to me excited over a possible writer for AllHipHop. The person was skillful – a cut above the normal, young writer that we’ve encountered. This young man, at the time in his early 20’s was professional, motivated, ambitious and, most of all, unique. This man was Clayton Perry.

Much of Clayton’s work appeared in AllHipHop’s alternative area, where he was allowed to roam free and flourish. Our managing editor Seandra Sims and I realized early on that we had something special in Clayton. He was relentless. He was one of the few writers that didn’t need managing or motivating. He was full of life and it showed in his work ethic. His stories read like all of the great writers of the 90’s – very academically. He was a scholar that framed and contextualized his subject matter. Clayton thoroughly researched the people he spoke to, challenging them as much as they challenged him.

He’d crank out story after story after story and kept count of them all – over 200 in a matter of a couple years. And we’re not talking any-old-body. We’re talking Clive Davis, Kenneth Gamble, John Legend, B.O.B., Janelle Monae, Bobby Brown, Chuck D, Common, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Adele and so many more. (In fact, here’s an alphabetical listing of his interviews.)

There were other instances when Clayton would even check us on editing mistakes that appeared in his pieces. In hindsight, he was a man on a mission. There were times when Seandra and I would talk about Clayton, mystified and marveled at the same time. In one email, she said, “That’s Clayton…marching to the beat of his own drum” after he suddenly and randomly submitted a lengthy piece on soul singer Allen Stone earlier this year.

To this day, we don’t know the circumstances around Clayton’s death, but that doesn’t much matter. What matters is that he’s left behind a proverbial library of his life’s work on ClaytonPerry.com. He was only 29, but I know people twice his age that haven’t accomplished as much. He was an educator that held a degree in Sociology and another in Creative writing. To put in plainly, Clayton was a remarkable talent.

On Facebook and Twitter, Clayton’s last words were “In the end, all you need is love.” He was loved. Clayton will certainly be missed by his family and friends, but also by those of us what were touched by his talents, professionalism and supremely pleasant demeanor. So, on this day of giving Thanks, we give thanks that God blessed us with knowing Mr. Clayton Perry.

Rest In Power, Clayton.

And job well done.

YG Tells Story Of His Failed Attempt At Running From The Police (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Last Friday (November 22nd) YG gave the audience at Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal a story to show why his debut album is called My Krazy Life. Speaking to the sold out crowd at UCB Theatre East, the Compton MC discusses what went wrong when he tried to run from the police.

According to YG, his mad dash from the police resulted from somewhat altruistic intentions as his friend called YG to help him pay his rent by a robbery. What ensued after involves a flat head screw driver, YG’s mother trying to keep her son out the streets through starvation and more.

The UCB Theatre improv actors turned that story into a hilarious satire of police racism and gave the first joke about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin that is actually funny.

Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal is every Friday at 9PM at the UCB Theatre East on 153 E 3rd St. Tomorrow’s show (November 29th) will feature special guest Sheek Louch. Tickets are available here.

Papoose Calls Trinidad James a "Jive As* Turkey" On New Diss Track

“Don’t come back to New York, dawg/N*ggas looking for you like the PS4”

(AllHipHop News) HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Papoose seems to have assumed the unofficial position of New York defender from out-of-towners as he aims his new diss song, “Jive A*S Turkey” at Trinidad James for his “South Runs NY” comments.

In the song, Pap not only derides Trinidad but claimed responsibility for Big Sean’s low album sales and Kendrick Lamar’s low ticket sales and subsequent cancellation of tour. No word on if Papoose is referring to the Rock The Bells cancellation that TDE were scheduled to perform at or the postponement of the Yeezus tour earlier this month.

Lorde: I Didn't Mean Drake and Nicki Minaj Were Irrelevant To Everyone

(AllHipHop News) Oh, Lorde, Lorde, Lorde. Last week (November 24th), 16 year old pop singer Lorde called Nicki Minaj and Drake’s music “irrelevant” and then backtracked on her comments.

Taking to her personal Twitter, the singer blames Complex for misconstruing her word. She specified that although she said “How are we listening to this,” her comments were about her own experience:

Ironically, in October, Lorde talked to MTV about the scrutiny people face over their opinions about celebrities:

I think there’s a funny culture in music that’s only happened over the last 15 years, that if you have an opinion about something in music that isn’t 100-percent good, you’re a ‘hater,’ even if you have perfectly reasonable grounds for that critique. People will say exactly what they think about a movie or a TV show, and that’s fine, but as soon as you say it about a record, you’re like some little zombie in a funny dungeon.

Hip-Hop Rumors: The Game's Twerkfest Becomes Fightfest!

I thought twerking was supposed to be about fun and bouncing booties! But The Game had a b-day party and that party erupted into a crazy fight! How? I don’t know, but TMZ was there, as always!

Peep there report:

A night of innocent booty shaking turned VIOLENT at The Game’s birthday party in L.A. last night — when several women straight up BRAWLED in the street … and TMZ has the footage.

It all went down outside Supperclub — where one of the women put on a twerk show for the rapper earlier in the night while he was inside of his car.

A short time later, the woman gets into a fight with another clubber and it sounds like they were arguing over a man. One thing led to another … and they were full on fighting in the street.

There was hairpulling … shoes were used as weapons … a couple of boobs fell out … and one of the fighters was left covered in blood.

Cops eventually arrived and at least one of the women was handcuffed.

Just another night out in Hollywood.
