Charlamagne Tha God Doesnt Think Drake Will Do The Breakfast Club, Hates Bound 2 Video + More

(AllHipHop News) Charlamagne Tha God is usually a man without a filter so when he is in a Ask Me Anything session from Reddit, the unexpected should be assumed. In his latest Reddit AMA session, the always loquacious radio personality discusses who he think will never do The Breakfast Club, his opinion on Kanye West’s new “Bound 2” video and more.

Always the critical voice, Charlamagne had no problem voicing his distaste for Kanye’s recently released music video for Yeezus‘ “Bound 2” featuring a half naked Kim Kardashian:

Charlamagne also revealed that The Breakfast Club had an interview with epochal comedian Paul Mooney but it remained unaired due to Mooney’s subject matter:

we did an interview with Paul Mooney that he never aired because I respect people’s opinions but he just came off as very racist. I don’t mind you expressing your opinion but he just seemed very prejudice….

Charlamagne revealed that Busta Rhymes and Machine Gun Kelly were the only artists to ever approach him about something he said on air and repeatedly stated he believes Drake will never appear on the show but did state how he would greet the Toronto MC if he did:

I don’t think he would but the first thing I would say to him is “Good Morning Fair Lady”

It’s a good thing no children or innocent bystanders were hurt but frustrating that they didn’t catch this joker.

EXCLUSIVE: Peter Gunz Explains How Working on Shaquille O'Neal Album Put Him In Jail (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Peter Gunz’s most recognizable song, “De Ja Vu (Uptown)” with Lord Tariq resulted from a probation violation, Rikers’ Island stay and Shaquille O’Neal’s 1996 album You Can’t Stop The Reign.

Peter Gunz appeared on Cipha Sounds’ Hip Hop improv show Take It Personal and told the story of how him working on Shaq’s third album resulted in him being sent to Rikers. According to the man formerly known as Pete Lova, after catching a gun charge(and subsequently changing his name to Peter Gunz) he had mandatory probation. What happened after a young Peter Gunz was called to work on Shaq’s album is a mixture of complicated serendipity.

The UCB improvisers turned his frequent probation visits into a hilarious sketch in the futility of fighting a probation officer’s request.

Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal is every Friday at 9pm at 153 E 3rd St in New York City.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Akon Discriminating Against Dark-Skinned Women?

Akon has seemingly been chilling, just doing his thing and living off his GaGa money. But, over in Africa, he’s still as major as ever. But, there are new reports that suggest that darker skinned African women have had a hard time getting opportunity in ‘Kon’s videos. Apparently there is a new video being shot over there with Akon and WizKid. Some of the Ghanaian models say that when they got there, the person that initially asked them to come out said that their lovely faces were no longer needed. Why? Seems like they only wanted “half cast” girls for the video aka women of mixed race. Now, Akon and WizKid are never directly implicated, but people assumed the “they” was them as the artists. The other side is this…and this is the sad part. Women in other regions such as Africa and The Caribbean are bleaching their skin to become lighter – or less Black…or perhaps more White. Now, people are looking to boycott Akon from what I heard. I don’t know if Akon has addressed this, because I heard he’s a good dude. But, this sucks.

“Whatever your intention was it was different from what your actions was that night,” Maino can be heard telling Trinidad. “We can get to a better place all you need to do-  I ain’t saying you need to apologize to me cause it ain’t about me, it’s about my city- you need to apologize to my city.”

“It’s coming out tomorrow,” responded James referring to his video message titled “The Truth Will Set You Free” that he released earlier this week.

New York Cop Files Racial Profiling Lawsuit Against Macy's

(AllHipHop News) Ever since the racial profiling allegations against Barneys and Macy’s became public the retailers and the police have gone back and forth about exactly which was responsible for the discrimination. The stores implicated the New York Police Department as the instigators. The cops claimed it was the stores that asked them to stop customers. Now it is a former cop that says she was the victim in a case of profiling at one of the sites.

The HuffPost reports Hispanic officer Jenny Mendez is suing Macy’s for $40 million because she believes was arrested at the location because of her race. Mendez was shopping at the NYC flagship store on Black Friday last year when a bag with clothes she had not paid for yet was stolen from her possession.

Store security caught the accused shoplifter, but when Mendez arrived at the security office with more items that she had not paid for yet she was then detained for shoplifting. The police were called and she was arrested.

Eventually, Mendez was acquitted of the charges in September because a store detective admitted during the trial that her supervisors told her to file a false confession from Mendez.

“Your boss is telling you to lie on this report?” Mendez’ lawyer Philip Karasyk asked the detective in court.

“I guess so, yes,” the detective responded.

Mendez says the whole ordeal caused her to lose her job with the NYPD. This suit comes after Treme actor Robert Brown sued Macy’s and the NYPD last month for profiling as well.

The suit even states that Antney placed herself as the chief financial officer of Gucci’s 1017 Brick Squad Records without him knowing and then created splinter companies from 1017.

The 33-year-old rapper alleges that Antney and Waka’s business practices have caused him serious financial problems including tax issues. He also names DJ Xavier “Zaytoven” Dotson, Khia Stone, and OJ da Juiceman in the suit.
